Wealthy Affiliate Community Update
Typhoon Maring landed in the Philippine area of responsibility yesterday (September 12) with heavy downpour of rain and brought flash floods on different parts of the country.
The neighboring adjacent towns are Kalayaan, Paete, Pangil, Siniloan, Mabitac and Famy. We are located in Siniloan, Laguna along the Laguna lake. You can Google it and locate where I am located(Bonifacio St., Salubungan). All of these towns have in their own particular areas like provincial road, market place and residentials have been affected by flash floods for about five hours. Until this time some of the commercial areas and residentials are still partly submerged because of the lack water exits.
Humans have not mastered yet nature adaptation
The very reason why market places, residential areas and even highways is that the natural formation of lands have been deformed and transformed by humans into their own convenience and style. Leveling the ground without proper drainage systems have brought and continue to haunt the same areas as rain comes during wet seasons.
There is nothing wrong with developments if we only learn to adapt naturally with "nature" as science would term it, and "creation" as religion says.
My Itinerary Today
Yesterday all the roads were not passable through motorcycles and to some places even vehicles. I was not able to have a visit to possible areas where our parishioners are. But today the weather is favorable so we can have the monitoring of the areas.
For the meantime I'm gonna bit in an inactive condition for the whole day within the WA community and in my own site. But wishing you all my friends and online business family to have your day a fruitful one.
On a sidenote I was able to have some tweaking on my posts yesterday and I hope it will positively put impact in the coming days in the Search Engines.

The flooding sounds horrible. Humans suffer from arrogance and don't understand that Mother Nature will ultimately win if we don't work with the planet instead of against it.
We have the same problem in the United States, we kept over building in areas that are not safe which makes for constant flooding because the water has nowhere to go.

We are ok Wendy but the problem persists because it's a perennial one. As you said water passages are blocked so every time it rains heavily flood will come again. It's an irresponsible zoning from the part of the government.
