Falling Down and Going Up
The difference between these two phrases is obvious and observable. It is easier to fall down than to go up or climb up.
The past two days I am in the 59 rank but now it's 96. I was not able to post for five days and just concentrated in reading and responding to comments and liking posts.
That is life it has the ups and downs but it still continue.

I actually hypothesize that there are now separate individuals in charge of the new "algorithm" They take turns on a schedule of their own loosening and constricting movement I have been out at 200 than back up but with a brake set at 120 no matter what. Effort is uniform and consistent.
Your initiative no longer matters in rank striding!

I actually disagree ;). I feel like it's been easier going up considering I'm such a low rank haha. Anyway congrats on being in the Top 100 for sure.
Thank you, it doesn't matter wherever we are. But it's worth reflecting if an algorithm is really a system that measures what you work for.
Great post I know about the ups and downs I was 111 and now I am 115 so those are the ups and downs. I have been busy answering blogs post and questions and working on my sites. Well, I just will keep on trying to do what I can and leave it at that.
It does sometimes shock but we have to work to get over the hurdles of the ups and downs. We can do that because we have a wonderful community here and the people here encourage all the time.
It can be a challenge to keep up rank. But just keep at it if this is your goal and you can do it.
From the very start I know I can make it but I don't work for it. I just want to have a glimpse of that place for Ambassadorship but I'm not determined to be there, LOL.
it's easy to get caught up in the ranking game but keep your eyes on the prize which is NOT ranking
People never admit this but WA Rank does get more poeple to your Profile Page and many people take you more seriously as Rank 67 versus Rank 257,000!
Yes, as Karen says, depending on the activity here, rank goes up and down all the time. Try not focus too much on it, as it will become a weight, but give yourself a goal as I have done to remain in the top number of the section you are in
Then by activity, you will find that there are days when you are more active posting training and content than other days.
Yes, this ranking is not to be concerned about but I am just wondering how it sways up and down.
My rank goes up and down all of the time. I have learnt not to let it concern me too much.

Helping people and being active and getting the direct response from your WA friends, that's a great feeling.
The life is like a roller coaster, the WA ranking too.
Sometimes it goes up, sometimes down. The most important is that we learn something on this WA journey.
