The tag cloud is located at the bottom of the right column of each page and post.
I appreciate your help.

Regards,
Al

I dont necessarily want to remove the tags, just the widget that makes them all visible to everyone on every page.
- Do tags help with SEO and searches?

The strange thing is that in the widget manager, the main side bar area has no widgets in it yet on the actual web site site it shows widgets for "search", "recent posts", "pages" and "tag cloud" all showing so is the some other default area that sets up a main side bar content apart from the widget manager?

I asked you already - did you delete the tag from the CSS

I just tried it on my test site and it seems that your Main Sidebar has a Google Ads in an Custom HTML Widget on it.
I just clicked on it and then on delete and its gone.
I viewed the site page and it was gone.

Im using Iconic1 theme and also have tag cloud widget showing on the right hand panel of every page. Under widgets the "main side bar" is emptey and so is the "inactive" area, Tag cloud widget only shows in the "available" panel so I have no idea how to stop it showing in the site? any ideas out there?

see my reply to Alma

Already tried deleting and dragging away tag cloud widget, has no effect

Hi Guys, I use Iconic1 theme and also have a tag cloud widget on the right hand panel of every page that I cant get rid of. I have tried all I can to delete or drag it out in the widget manager without success.
- The "main side bar" appears empty,
- I have cleared inactive widget area
- the only widgets visible are in "available widgets" area

What am I missing?

See my reply to Alma

No success

Did you take the code out of your CSS

Hi if you go to post andlook at the post you want to remove from then go to the right bottom and you will see tag and the tags that you have added and to remove them just click on the little button next to the tag and it goes to Tag "heven" - easy best regards Paul

Paul, it looks like a summary of all the tags I used with this website.
I appreciate the feedback. Thank you.

Isn't it a widget Alma?

If so, you should be able to get rid of it by going to Appearance -> Widget and deleting the tag cloud widget.

Tom

Tom, I don't remember adding a widget, but I'll check it. Thank you for responding to my question and the feedback.
Alma

Yes this is widget, Tom is right. It probably came with the theme. So just go there and drag and drop into unused widgets.

Jovo, I appreciate the feedback. Thank you.

I can't edit my pages because they're coded. If I click the visual, all the texts disappear from the page.. I appreciate any feedback. Thank you.

Exactly my problem. Do you think it will solve the problem if I delete everything? I appreciate your feedback.

Hi 2AI. This article has helped many with the same problem:

I checked the site you indicated above. Thank you.

Hi 2AI. Log out of WordPress. Close all browser windows. Clear the cache from your browser(s). Log back into WordPress. Let me know if this helps.

I had a computer tuned up yesterday. Then I had this problem. Thank you. I'll do what you suggested.

I'm getting 'nothing found' in my website. I set the front page display your latest post. I don't have home and blog pages. I appreciate your help. Thank you.

I guess you do not have any post yet. As soon as you publish ir will appear in your blog roll and this message will vanish.

Jvranjes, I added a blog to my page. It disappeared when I previewed it, however, it is still in my website. Any other feedback? Thank you.

It will go away when you publish the post

I added a blog page, published it. When previewed, the 'nothing found' disappeared, however, it is still in my website. It's funny because I followed what I did with my other website: diabetestomorrow, com and I didn't encounter any problems. The only difference is the theme.
I decided not to include a blog to the diabetestomorrow.com website because of this issue. Thank you. I appreciate the feedback.

Alma, the problem seems to be that you have made your privacy policy your home page.
In your dashboard, go to settings, reading and make sure it is set to your main page shows latest posts.
Then, your privacy policy should be created as a separate page in your top menu.

I think you're referring to http://diabetestomorrow.com. I changed the Front page displays to latest posts. I got this 'No posts to display' in my website.

The same thing I got before changing to a static page and choose the private policy. I got rid of the 'no posts to display' text on the
page, but the tabs are messed up.

Do you happen to know if there is a training to do this? I do appreciate the help. Thank you.

I solved the problem about the 'no post to display.'

If you haven't created any posts yet then, there is nothing to find :)

FHagstrom, thank you for the feedback. Do I have to do this even if I don't plan to add a post to my site? Thank you.

Moving forward, you will be creating more posts than pages, Maybe this will help

Thank you for the site. I'm watching it right now.

I've been encountering problems building my website since I started, The last one is this... WARNING WP_DEBUG is not enabled! Please test your theme with debug enabled before

You could change themes, delete the old theme, and change it back...

Gary, Thank you for the response to my question. I'll do that and see what happens. I deleted the non-active theme and refreshed the site. From the Theme Check page, I clicked check it. The warning is still there. Any other suggestion? I appreciate your help. Thank you.

Alma, if you hover over the site rubix blue tab on the left of your page you'll open up an options window, click on site support and submit a support ticket and I'm sure you'll get it sorted out.
Good luck
Mark

Mark, thank you for your feedback. I clicked support tab from my site when I sent the question this morning. When I followed your instructions, it went to the support tab from my site too. I appreciate your help.
Sorry, my question didn't go to support. I didn't enter it in the right box. I just PM it to Kyle. Thanks again.

No probs Alma, hope you get it sorted out.
Mark

Mark, thank you. Support left a message, it's just a warning. I deleted all my pages and posts and started fresh. I didn't realize WordPress.org has lots of resources. It'll be a lot of reading, but it's the only way I'm going to learn it. Once again, thank you.

Sorry I couldn't be more specific Alma but I'm glad you got it sorted out anyway.
Mark

Thank you, Mark. Learning is a process. You can't rush it. I'm so grateful for the help I'm getting from you and other members of the WA community. Thank you.

Hi 2AI. Can you post a screenshot of what you see? Or, if you would like, please contact me on Skype and we can do a screen share session.

Sorry, I missed this message. A WA member showed me the solution for the Dashboard's problem. It's a collapse menu issue. Now I can see all the text. I do appreciate the time you spent helping me. Thank you.

No problem. I'm glad that you found the solution.

I still have one to resolve...warning I got when I clicked check it Theme Check page.

Can I send a screenshot of this problem to you? I hope I can figure how from your previous instruction on how to do it.

Once again, thank you.

Yes. Please send a screenshot.

Hi, I attached the image. the warning message is at the top of the page. Thanks.

If this is not affecting how your website functions, you don't need to worry about it. If it is not causing any problems, I would just 'suppress INFO'. Does this affect how your site functions?

Yes, sometimes it does. I'll let it go for now. Thank you for your help. Have a nice weekend!

Hi 2AI. In what ways does this warning affect your website functionality? You have a nice weekend also.

Thanks for asking. This morning I tried to edit my page. After I previewed and updated it, the texts disappeared. However, when I checked my website, the page was all right. I think the warning I've been having has something to do with... Editing wp-config.php.
