September 2018 Marks My First $500+ Month (Amazon Niche Site Update)
Hi WA'rriors,
This is just a quick update on my Amazon niche site that I've been working on lately.
We all love them income report posts, don't we? :)
Plus it's a good way for me to keep track of my site's progress.
Anyway...
As of September 30, 2018, my website has made $520 in commissions.
(Last month it was $325).
In a month, my website will be 1 year old.
Currently I have 45 posts, most of them best of's, some are individual product reviews and the rest are info/how-to posts.
(I can only imagine how much $$$ I'd have made if I had more content).
Traffic was close to 300 visitors per day but last few days it kept dropping to less than 200 for some reason... I guess end of September not too many people search for my niche products?
I will see how traffic is in the next few days to see if it's just a temporary slump in traffic.
What's next?
Now, it's important not only to maintain the $500+ months, but also strive to increase it. My next goal is $1000/month (on regular months). I have NO idea what to expect during the holidays, that's for sure.

And as for the reasons why your traffic dropped: Jewish holidays and all the political scandals likely played a major role. My traffic dropped too for this period and it's normal for September.

Wow good job. That’s surprising because for a site that is a year old it should have way more content. I know my site has over 50 posts and is like 8 months old but I am trying to reach 100 posts. You must have a really good niche , I need to get started on my amazon niche site I kind of left it on the back burners while I focus on my main site
Yeah, I know. I started this site after my accident/orthopaedic surgery, so a lot of my energy was going into recovery. I was slow with content production but what matters is that I continued putting it up.
Can you imagine if I had more content?
(And used best of list posts, which definitely what helped).
My niche is pretty expensive, so if people buy stuff related to my niche it ranges from $20-100 in commissions per product.
