I relocated to Virginia from California two years ago. I teach Spanish at a local High School, love to write, and am fascinated with the idea of creating a web site or two. OK, maybe more. I have several topics I’d like to do something with, and this seems like the way to go.
November Update
I've been slowly building my site, and have finally surpassed 20 posts. It's a big deal for me since, like many of you, I'm still working full time. There's enough posted now that I've been accepted into a few affiliate programs, and I'm proud of that. It's given me what I need to turn this site into a "going concern." In my opinion, being able to ask questions is a big part of why WA works so well for so many people. I use two different locations to access help. The first is the menu on the left side of this page. If you click on the Help Center button and then the Ask a Question button, you can ask about anything you need help with. One or more people generally respond very quickly. Other times I'll type into the gray bar with the magnifying glass. It's just to the right of the WA at the top left of this page. You can type in "how" questions, or names of members you want to connect with. I use this one when I have a "how do I" question, or have previously seen an article and remember at least part of the title of their blog post or training. Hope this helps. And by all means, take a looks at my site when you have the time.

It’s nice to meet you! Duolingo is a very helpful site. You should learn a lot of Spanish there. I’ve discovered most native Spanish speakers are quite gracious with those of us who didn’t grow up speaking the language. I wish you great succcess with your site too.

No probs nancy and if/when you read my blogs make sure you choose the ones that will help you in conjunction with whatever training you are currently taking.
You may not be aware of this but it’s a good idea (only if you want to) to click the 'Like' icon within a comment if you like it as I have done with yours.

Hi Kyle. I’m leaning toward lingerie for plus size women. I’ve recently been reading how it’s a very unserved area of the clothing industry. Plus, I just really like lingerie. I think I could write lots of copy on this topic. However, does it seem too broad to you? Thanks in advance for your help.

Will I need to search for the video training of the marketeer choosing a niche or will you send me a link? I’m about the hit the upgrade button because I want a little more assistance with choosing my niche. I know it’s only supposed to take a short time to choose, but if I’m going to be researching and writing about a topic, I want to feel it’s got a better-than-average chance to really being successful.

Thanks, Gary. I did start the training. I’m at “choose your niche.” I’d be further along, but we’re in a rural part of southwest Virginia, and internet service through Hughesnet—the only service available—is terrible. I have to drive to the library to watch the videos or risk using up a month’s worth of service in a week. More information than you wanted, right? I really love lovely women’s lingerie, and apparently the plus size market is under-represented when it comes to well-made lingerie. Little girls’ dress are also fun, and women’s fascinators, those little hats everyone wore to the royal wedding, would be fun to work with too. However, I’m a high school teacher who believes the public school system in this country is failing our students. And, I may have another topic I’d like to tackle further down the road. I’m thinking something “froufrou” would be good to start with and move to more serious once I’ve become proficient. I’m concerned that Plus Size Lingerie may be too broad a category. Any thought? Thanks for your help...I appreciate it.
