Congrats to all of South Africa. Real men play rugby and Australian rules football. Real male football players in America kneel for the national anthem and get paid millions to play a kid's game.
Well, probably the Ozzy version of football. But not the world cup version which always belongs to South America or Europe lol. But the Boks played a great game and deserved the win today.
As big as America is, they are terrible at most sports. I know my new home in Ukraine is the home of the best boxers on the planet. Out of 17 weight divisions, 5 World Champs are from little old Ukraine.
No comment lol. It's strange how various countries excel at certain sports. Maybe it's a cultural thing, who knows.
Thank you John. Yes we did it. I'm proudly South African....and I'm proud of team Springbok. They did well.....raising our flag high...feeling exited
Both teams put up a good fight. It seemed pretty hard for both teams to score a try for a while lol.
Yes, but I was more inclined to cricket but after yesterday's game I think ive developed an interest in rugby the love will increase with time as I keep watching. 😊
I think all us English fans were disappointed, even the team itself lol.
England played ropey from kick off, but were so close to getting a try though. They played good second half, but the Boks still run things around them. England needed to up the game. However, we should all be proud they came second, ESPECIALLLY beating the ABs to reach the final :)

I am a diehard Wallaby fan but was cheering for South Africa. They were beaten 23-12 in the pool by the mighty All Blacks but flew under the radar naturally with the England v All Blacks game considered by many to be the real "final". Not so for South Africa, they showed up and England didn't.
It really highlights the beauty and wonder in Rugby as a spectacle, any team can achieve greatness if they show up, work hard and outsmart the opposing team.
Full credit to South Africa, like 2007 they won it!
