Where am I at
I am lucky that I have just landed myself a job in the industry I am very passionate about. Renewable energy and solar in particular.
It isn't anything fancy but I will learn a lot about people. What is my job you ask?
Door to Door selling home solar systems on just 100% commission. For a lot of people that would just be to much and would suggest to me to at least try to get a base wage or even try a different field as solar is so over rated in many peoples minds.
My interest in renewable energy is going back a long way and i have my own solar hot water system for well over 20 years and have solar for energy for the past nearly 3 years.
The hardest thing for me atm is that i have a lot of learning to do in my new job and on here. Fortunately I have good tool here and come anytime to learn.
What I'm trying to say is follow what you are passion about and somehow things will happen. Think of how it could help others and then try to do it in some form.
I keep you updated with my progress as I hope I can inspire others to find their passion.
The rest will just follow.

I just wrote a letter to our govenment, and left there my vision. I asked them, if they can install a law for all new to build buildings to obligate the builders to put solarsystems on every roof.
I am passionate about making the world a better place for our children and grandchildren.
Hi , I feel the same about our planet. we all only have got one or at least for the time being.
Our kids will have to pay the price if we don't do something.
You've found the right spot, Wolfie!
The tools, the camaraderie - it's all here, from success stories to what things you should avoid doing.
Just add motivation and persistence - and it sounds like you're good to go in that department!
As an aside, I frequently find myself wondering where I am at. The space between my ears can be very confusing...

I'm interested in your new job Wolfie as I dabbled with the thought of going into that a couple of years ago...however I decided against it because, even though I do believe in Solar as a way forward, the direct sales route leads to vastly overpriced products and dubious selling techniques and that just doesn't sit well with me at all.
Like Loes, I think that all new buildings, commercial, industrial, public and private should be mandated to have solar space and water heating of some sort.
Good luck with it, I do hope it can provide you with an income but I also hope you can find the time to dedicate to your efforts here at WA.
