What does the Big Red Dot On My Profile mean? When I go to my profile, I don't see any changes. Just curious about this.
Hi Willie, sometimes it means that someone has left you a comment on your profile page, and sometimes it is just a big red dot. As Abie has mentioned it is a bug that needs to be fixed. Either way, I do click on it just to double-check
Best wishes,
Michael
It is supposed to display a number inside it to let you know if any messages had been left for you on your profile space.
However your profile icon should also be highlighted too and if not, meaning none left.
You know I get that a lot. I think it just stays around and pops up every once in awhile. Truly means nothing.

I'm converting my website from an E-Commerce to an Authority website. I've downloaded the components to run an E-Commerce store; what components should I get rid of to only ha
True what has been said already. Depends on whether you want to ecommerce or not. Simply save your info from the product pages and delete woocommerce or whichever ecom you used.
If you keep it intact and focus on becoming an authority, which by the way there is no plugin for that...grin...by becoming an authority, you have products avail to sell.
Hope that helps you out!
Hi you can keep your ecom if you so wish and to become authority you'd have to write informational quality rich content with good choice of keywords and with consistency. Of course that would a particular specific niche.
The recommendations is 2 - 3 posts a week for the foreseeable future.
When you write reviews you may include links that you can send your visitors to your store vs others.
