I must admit I never gave a lot of thought to colors or how important they are. Picking one over another can be a deal maker, or a total deal breaker. As with most things these days even colors are being tracked. According to ColorMatters there is one color liked by over 40% of people worldwide. Picking the right color scheme can have a huge impact on your brand. Working with colors is very important, some work well together (flow) others will clash and send your site visitors away fast. Colors have the power to elicit strong emotional responses from customers.
According to one study, 85% of people say color is the primary reason they buy a product. It also increases brand recognition by 80%. The color is BLUE. Look at Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Do you see a theme? They use the color blue, that's no coincidence.
Perhaps we may need to work some on a color scheme that is candy to the eyes, and very nice to look at and read. Thank you for reading, I hope it was thought provoking also.
