Branding and February Facebook Results

Our Branding and Facebook Promotion continued in February for our Fitness Niche. The Niche is primarily "local market". Our strategy is two fold:

• Create enquiries which lead to both sales and people on a database
• Create a strong brand .. the brand is my wife's name

As a background we do operate in an Asian country and you can take the concepts and map these into your local market. Our "twin city" local market is, I estimate, around 7 million people.

We are very excited because we have just signed a contract to supply in-house Aerobics and Yoga classes for the staff of the local office of a US Multinational company that has offices in almost 100 countries. If I put their logo here everyone would know it. The contract is not really worth much, and that is not the point. This is what I really got excited about .. the country head office, which is in the capital (population I estimate at 15 million), were the ones who approved the contract and they put a condition on it. I will paraphrase it in English: "Because your brand is so well know both in your city and in the capital you cannot say that we are using your services because we do not provide endorsements to product/service providers". Wow, really we are so well known? Our branding is working! Even in city we are not open in .. yet. Unbelievable!

Now for Facebook and February.

• Number of non boosted Posts 14 (note: these are all Instagram posts automatically posted to Facebook)
• One Boosted Post that ran from 4 February to 28 February. The results of the boosted Post are below.

These charts are are self explanatory. An interesting statistic is men compared to women. Our results in converting to customers are 1 man per 30 women. Our target market is clearly woman so our boosted Post for March will be female only. In addition we have been very successful with the younger audience and our Boost age group starts at 18 years old so I am going to drop it one more year to 17 for March. Our boost "likes" are crazy high! I would expect our "Post Like" rate will drop when we move a female only target. I would really like to improve our "Share" numbers but I am not sure how I can do that.

The Total Page Likes are now at 12,610 .. we are finding this is producing good "social validity" for people we are interacting with.

There were 14 non boosted Posts in March with a total reach of 48,356 which is average of 3,454 or 27.6%. This is also very high but a little lower than previous months.

It is "Groundhog Day" (the movie) so now onto March!
