how do you know if you have chosen a profitable niche

Hi Zanele,

There is something I've tried to simplify about choosing a niche in this post: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/sergs/blog/3-top-richy-niches
Hope it helps.

Cheers,
Jhen

There is no guaranteed way to know.. I go off of hard work that I put into this and from exchanging information with others on here and taking new knowledge I get from W.A. and putting it to the test. If you can find good keywords that meet the criteria from Jaaxy on QSR or competition, KQI and gets good traffic, you should be able to rank your website fairly quickly in the first month or two on Google. After that it's all about gaining trust with your visitors and getting more traffic for it become profitable.

I think every niche can be profitable, as long as you put your heart and time in it, when you found a niche, go surf the internet for ideas and read as many blogs as you can to help you create your blog, when you add one blog a day, you create 365 keywords in a year, that is over a thousand in three years, build your business with passion, look with what words other sites are discripted, who come out at page one, and use this knowledge, Loes

Just as long as you are very knowledgeable and you can create a lot of content about it with lots of post on your site you will be profitable on just about every niche. The main thing is knowledge.
Enjoy

Authoring & Writing Content
Updated

what happens when you fail to write a content that will create a traffic on your site.

Hi People!
Just want to add a quick tip to everyone that have trouble with coming up with a topic to write about.
Maybe the most effective technique that i use and that can never run out of topics is to simply go through the questions & answers area here on WA and simply try to answer on people questions in your own words. Give nice detailed advice but do it at your website. Then you can share your post to people that asked the question in a first place. Its a win - win technique.
Hope you find this helpful.

thank you

Don't mention it. I'm glad if I managed to help you out.
After all, that's why we're all here - To help each other.

Nothing at all.
Your content won't be ranked and no one will see it because it will be on page 4539 on Google.

Your sites rank in SEO is going to suffer if you don't write more content. The more content you write the higher your chances of your site landing on page 1. They have to be of value to the readers, btw.

What exactly is the topic you want to write about? Maybe we could come up with more specific ideas to help you. Blessings!
Hilda

Go and surf some sites here and see what others do, get yourself inspired, https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/getting-started/please-give-me-feedback-on-my-website greetings Loes

If you don't write content, what's the reason for someone coming to your site?

You can pay for traffic through PPC, but you need a budget for that, and can easily lose money instead of gain.

You could also outsource your content, but again, you need to pay for the articles.

hi nathaniell i hear you but if i could outsource the content how much will it cost tell me more about it

It depends. For really good content, ie native English speakers with specialization in the topic you choose, could run you about $50-$200 for 500-1500 words.

If you go the cheap route, you can get someone from a developing country to write not-so-good content for about $3-$5 per couple hundred words.

Here's a training on it https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/effective-workflow-with-outsourcing-schedules

It's very hard to outsource effectively if you can't give the person direction. I highly recommend learning the ropes of your website and niche before trying it. However, if you simply cannot find time to write, it's an option. Just make sure you are on the ball and let the person you hire know exactly what you want.

Some guys will jerk you around - I've been there!

thank you Nathaniell this is helpful

What happens when you fail to write content.... nothing.

Whatever you do don't stop. Remember it doesn't have to be perfect. Just write as you were speaking it with passion. The more you do the better you'll get. Create something you really care about. Look at your keywords. You'll see something that strikes a chord! I know if I can do it you can. God bless you sweet lady!

You have quite a few options. Either tweak that content and improve in the areas that may be lacking or move on and create new content. Continue creating and developing the best quality content possible, do your keyword research and implement those keywords properly and in time, the traffic will surely come. Don't stop, just keep going and you will not only get better, but you will see better results as you continue to develop. All the best and much success to you!

You can put an opt in form on your FB business page, or you can link to your own website landing page with an opt in form.

thanks nathaniell
it means I have to have a FB business page first

No, not necessarily. You have two options - one is to send traffic toa business page. The other option is to send traffic to your website.
