Alright guys, I've got some tough love to express today to the entire community. The tough love involves showing you the mistakes I ALWAYS see most people make and if you seriously stop making these mistakes, you're going to be successful.

1. Stop. RUSHING.

Ex: There is no way a newbie to WA can go through the get started course (level 1) in 1 day and tell me they did everything. This is a total lie and I see people claim this, I go "-_-" because I know what will come next is tons of questions about stuff that is already answered inside the training if they JUST took their time.

People who rush through always miss out on learning the core things and that accumulates questions further down and that forces them to backtrack to get back into it but unfortunately many people who realize that instead of going back try to push through and it only hurts them so they quit thinking it's WA's fault, when really, it's theirs.

2. Stop chasing shiny IM products.

They are all crap. I've met members who tried WA for a short while, then went on to chase a product that promised them six figures in 30 days. I've also met other people who have been here for over a year who STILL do this.

Legend has it they are still searching for that unicorn of a fast paying IM product.

People: To succeed in business takes HARD work. WA's certification and bootcamp courses give you the hard work strategy to use. You have to complete each task and really let every lesson sink in.

3. Stop procrastinating!

Maybe you doubt if WA works, maybe you have other stuff in your life that's distracting you but I find a lot of people who sit down and see that there is a lot of hard work to this feel overwhelmed.

You have to push through this negative feeling and know that

4. Stop asking questions the training already has the answers to:

How do we get traffic?

How do I make six figures in this business?

How do I start an email list?

Can I make a full time income? (Hint: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/vitaliyg/blog/can-...)

Ect...

The answer is: DO THE TRAINING!

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/online-en...

You: "Omg Vitaliy, so you're telling me that all the questions I have about making money online are answered there?"

Me: Um yes. It's what all the pros in WA have been saying for YEARS.

Again this is people who jump the gun instead of going through the training and we know what this leads to...

5. Stop jumping from niche to niche.

A good niche site takes months of hard work and dedication to turn into something that will make you money but most people never get there because they feel it's not going to make money, they get bored of it or they want that quick cash so they look for niches they think will get them there.

Stick to 1 niche, the one you love and dedicate yourself to it. Don't let the other worries set in. Stick to YOUR niche.

I was jumping around like this and it never led to anything stable until I did bootcamp for at least 6 months and saw what happened:

6. Stop doubting the system and putting others down.

I ran into a pleasant gentlemen in chat who was belittling other members and asking them stuff like "how much have you made?" "Why aren't you making money yet?" "how does it work if you've been here so long and don't have anything to show for it"

These are all condescending questions that I want to explain:

Money in this business comes after you did the work so the first sign of your success is taking the right steps which is where WA's training leads you through.

Most people never get through step 1, they immediately jump on the money band wagon thinking this is how it works, but without the right things set, you'll never make it that far.

So if you're new in WA, are having your doubts, know the system is excellent in it's design and you are doing the right things.

The tree only grows when you plant the seeds and water it. That's how your business will be made.

So don't let those kinds of people fool you or deviate you from reaching your goals. Stick to the training.

7. If you haven't completed and done all the tasks in the training courses, do NOT deviate to other places. Hell, don't it at all lol.

If you really do the training, all the tasks, take advice from the webinars, you're going to have MORE than enough.

8. Stop doing it your way if you haven't done the training.

Don't go against the tide that is the training. Again people who get into this, rush things or maybe from previous places think they know what to do, they just immediately start doing that instead of the training.

Are we surprised that if the previous training failed, led them to WA, and they continued the old ways, that they failed too? No, if you're coming into the training with a mindset of how you're going to do things, make sure it fits in line with the training.

Hi, Vitality, timely advice, and experience speaking thank you. I think it just takes time, to get to the point where we have that solid belief both in the training, platform and ourselves that we can do this. I think that when we reach that point we will stay the distance. We are paying to be here after all at the end of the day if we do not follow the process we are scamming ourselves.

Thanks Vitaliy for a very pertinent post; I agree with you almost totally except as it relates to asking questions in the context of learning. I think the matter of learning comes with a variety of nuances, and it's possible for example, that someone could even read something that is not clearly understood to the person, so it's better for the question to be asked even if it appears foolish or unwarranted, than for someone to stay stucked. I think we need to be sensitive to the fact that people of different levels come to WA. I would suggest that people spend the time to ensure that the questions are necessary by checking carefully in the lessons before asking, because as a community we wouldn't want any
misunderstanding on this one; I think it's Carson who said "the only question that's not worth asking is the one that didn't get asked) trust I quote correctly).

This post has been needed for a long time now. Glad to read it and appreciate your insight and encouragement. Also, I definitely agree about information marketing products. They are a useless waste of money. I make it a point not to buy anything from Clickbank, JVZoo or the like and unsubscribe from blogs that market them. ~Gina

Vitality, you speak the truth so much with what you've just said. The biggest problems I still have even after being here at WA for over 2 and a half years is what you said in number 2 and 3.

Even today I still once in a great while go after one of those little shiny objects and I almost always regret doing it.

Procrastination has always been a big issue with me and I do go through periods of it and distraction as well. I find it difficult at times to work on what I need to when I come home from a long day at work because all I want to do is relax and just unwind.

Eventually though I get sick of the way things go at work and my focus comes back in full force and I start working hard again. I just need to continuously work hard and never let up if I want to see the success and goals I'm hoping to reach.

Yes, yes, yes, yes.............I couldn't agree more. Only on course 3-7 of getting started but I am seriously considering going back and running through them again because I am sure I have missed a thing or two. OOOOOH to have a brain that held everything after one "Go-through". Sorry, not built that way.

Thanks for speaking the truth in love, Vitaliy.

Pushing forward....Wayne.

Even if you do go back, you still have existing work you did Wayne, so you're not starting over, you're just improving upon current things!

Yes, and that's the whole idea behind "Review". It's kind of like reviewing your schoolwork just before an exam. You've already done a lot of the hard homework now it's time to review and refresh.

Well, I have two opinions on this.

One: I agree with everything that VitaliyG has to say and he has helped me with everything so I know for a fact that he is 100% dedicated to tell users the truth.

So with that said, thank you for all your help.

Secondly: As a newbie or person who has only done this for roughly 2 months now, I do think that it is easy to prejudge people on their motivation. I don't men the people who want the get rich quick, like he said that is a unicorn however I am referring to people like myself who work 60 to 70 hours a week at their day job then spend a hour on 2 a day to improve my website or to get advice.

My goal is not to get rich quick, I understand I need to do the work nd I have the effort, but when it comes to those who get on the WA blogs and talk about this or that then it makes the "Newbies" somewhat confused so we ask questions.

Asking questions is not a bad thing, I have helped people where I could as well but I don't help where I know nothing.

As a "newbie" I will achieve, I will accomplish, I will not be speak out to turn but I not lose patience with the people just starting.

It is as simple as not answering.

Thanks again for all the help and to all the "Newbies" please do listen to the wise comments of the senior people in the affiliate business such as VitaliyG, he and others will help you learn how to properly do tasks to be successful.

Hi Shane, I totally get it from the people who work very hard, but I was referring to the people who keep looking for shortcuts.

In your case, you are very curious about really learning this, not in a hurry which is why I am always glad to help you, even if the answers are often the same.

There's just a lot of people who don't care about learning and just want the easy way to be given to them.

I understand. It can be tough on everyone's end of things.

This is true, but this business requires that people make the time for it, there's no other way.

Well said! I know exactly which "gentleman" in chat you are talking about. I saw what he was saying but didn't bother to chime in.

But to your #1 point above. Even when you take your time and do the lessons you still can miss something. After completing the certification course and before starting boot camp, I went back through some of the certification course lessons and picked up a couple of nuances I missed the first time through.

So anyone who thinks success will come to them if they rush through, especially something they know nothing about, is doomed to fail. The WA training provides us many ways to earn money, even beyond affiliate marketing, but people cannot rush through if they want success.

Enter slow clap here! Well said my brother. This sounds like a snarky Eddy with a y style article. lol I totally agree with all your points. And I can tell this is heart felt and comes from dealing with members looking for short cuts and aren't willing to put in the work and patience. This will be bookmarked and shared with my referrals and other members. Great job!

Thanks brother and great to hear from you!

Good to read your post, outlining what it takes and pointing out that the training does have it all....the training is hard work, I know I keep going through the same stuff every day!

People often ask me and I say do the training and don't be distracted by other things...and work it for at least 5 years before you expect to see decent income and of course there are exceptions to the rules but they are so few and far between.

They can reach decent income in under a year Michael.

They can but for most that is an exception because most people here have such full lives that they can only give it 2 or may be 3 hours a week......unless you are saying it is possible to do it in that amount of time?

If you love the niche, you'll get to that point faster. It can be done in less than a year, trust me.

I'll let you know in one year...I love steampunk, that is my niche.

I think the problem is because we do get distracted, this is why it takes longer...you even said it yourself...this is why it takes time because things happen in our lives....if we are really lucky and obsessed with what we do then I think we can do it in a year........obsessed and loving our niche...and developing our 'tech' skills and marketing skills online.

Thanks, man. I've been here over a year and I think I main problem is #3. Or maybe not so much procrastination per se, but focus and time management in general.

I'm sticking with it though, for the long run. I'll be doing it for years to come even if it takes that long to see money. I keep hearing from people like you that's what is important.

Thanks again for being such an inspiration in this community :)

No problem man, now stop procrastinating :D

I plan to...tomorrow.

lol, just need to get in the regular habit of writing a ton of content every week. ^.^ Everything else seems easy

Tom ehh, make it now! :D
