How to Get Your CPC Costs Down to Under $0.05 (Part II)

Here I am providing further examples of how to get potentially very low cpc costs for Google ads you create. You have to think outside the box for which keywords you're targeting here and go for closely related terms where people would want to buy something. For example:

  1. Best Sedona Hiking trails (no ads)
  2. Leads to landing page talking about Sedona hiking trails
  3. On that same page you have product recommendations (your affiliate promos)

The conversions for this type of sales funnel will be less than if people were looking for specific products and product categories but on the flipside, it is still relevant enough to promote products and if you can get your CPC costs to under $0.05 in doing so, you can afford to do this for awhile, spent next to nothing on ad costs and even 1 small sale in the low ticket department can yield a profit here.

Great stuff Vitaliy, sometimes you have to be creative within the PPC world and targeting "relevant" keywords that don't have quite the same level of commercial intent is a good way to do this.

So if I understand correctly, I could have an educational post about how to do something and then at then at the end I could add an affiliate section promoting a few products related to the topic of the article. Then I could run adds to target this post. Did I get it right?
