Hi all, so I just got back from Vegas and decided to start this once a month trend where any member of WA can ask me anything regarding making money online. I did this a few months ago and the feedback was fantastic.

So if there's anything/anywhere you're stuck on, want to find out about regarding making money online, have questions on PPC, social media (not my best honestly), ask away!

The more detailed you are with your questions, the better I'll be able to help you find a solution.

I've a question that's been bugging me, Vitaliy!

I hear mixed opinions when it comes to the ratio of reviews vs content.

So I wanna know if there's some kinda balance I should stick to for keeping both visitors and Google happy?

I'm currently publishing 1 article after every 5 reviews. Or should I do 1 after every 10 reviews? How do you structure your posting schedule?

Reviews obviously drive the most traffic, buy I also hear that Google doesn't like mostly reviews on a site. Is this true?

OK, I lied, it's more like several questions lol.

Thanks :)

It's not that it "doesn't" like reviews, it's that they don't like reviews that always lead to affiliate links, aka making them bridge pages.

You can write as many reviews as you want Neil, but if you interlink those reviews with a product you like instead of promoting everything else, it'll do better.

But always make sure to do posts on common topics too, it shows your audience you know your stuff.

I get ya! I've already learned the hard way by promoting affiliate links in every review in the past lol.

But doing like you and Kyle suggest - interlinking and funneling folks to the WA review instead has had a much better impact on rankings.

Thanks for the advice on content too :)

Dear Vitaliy,

Small clarification... Please guide me whether my understanding is correct.

So in my review posts I need to place only my WA review link Instead of WA affiliate link??? or

Is that ok to place both my WA affiliate link & WA review link please advice (I am on make money online niche and I promote WA)

Thanks In Advance!

Your Friend,
Paul

Hi Vitaliy.

I am currently researching this tool called Ubersuggest and comparing its features to Jaaxy's.

Uber shows fairly decent long tail keywords, search volume, CPC and competition. I am guessing that these results are mostly relevant for people who are running ads. My questions are;

1/ Does free keyword tools like Ubersuggest offers any benefits for obtaining organic keyword research data?
2/ Is the level of competition in Uber the same as the one we see on Jaaxy's QSR?
3/ How can I convince my readers that a paid keyword tool like Jaaxy is a better choice than a free one?

Thanks for your time.

Hi Cathy:

1) Of course there's benefits. Ubersuggest is a pretty awesome free tool and many of it's suggestions remind me of Jaaxy's benefits.

2) No it's different (different metrics). I believe the competition is actually PPC competition, not the SEO one.

3) Usually free tools do not offer the same benefits as paid ones. Jaaxy has plenty of options you can list out that Ubersuggest does not (time savings, better data, more options, ect...).

Thank you! I am currently in Bootcamp, therefore, I'm heading in the right direction.

Personally, I want to commend you and the others that went to Bag as and had a blast. I must say, Kyle and Carson know how to lay the red carpet out.

I am very excited for you guys.

Remembered one of the questions that's been on my mind for a WHILE.

Do you know how to create landing pages for WA reviews? (At least I think they are called landing pages). But the one that's connected to main blog, not just a separate site with a landing page.

Eddy, Nathaniel and Marcus (among others) use those for their WA reviews.

I like the fact that there is no sidebar, menu, header whatsoever, just one that page focusing on the review.

I also would like to use it for my getting started page: https://kasottyblog.com/online-success - because it really annoys me that I can't remove the sidebar from pages in this WP theme.

Would appreciate your response if you know the answer to the question.

That kind of stuff requires a bit of coding into the actual theme settings Zarina. When I did mine that way, I had a friend code it so that I wouldn't have too many distractions on the page and I am certain Eddy, Nathaniell and the others did the same.

This is unfortunately not my area of expertese, but I can assure you, if you write great content, you will keep the viewer focused on your blog post, not outside distractions.

I see, didn't know that. If anything I will contact Steve. He's helped with some minor coding before and I have a feeling he should know how to go about it.

Thank you for your response, Vitaliy!

P.S. Didn't know you had a landing page too.

A landing page is any page/post a person goes to, so that would basically be any page on our websites. In this case though, we are specifically talking about the one that promotes WA, but yeah, Steve should know about this stuff.

Thanks man, appreciate your response!

Use Elementor plugin. That's what I used to create mine. No coding required.

Thank you, Darren! Will definitely check it out! Also, do you need to keep it activated the whole time?

Hi Zarina!
Which theme are you using?

However, most themes allow you to "post" a page with the option of different built-in templates, other than the main layout.

For example, if you want to publish a page without sidebars, you can select the "contact template" which usually has no sidebars coded in.
See images attached!

Also, depending on your theme, you may also be able to do this with selected posts, e.g. in the Astra theme.

I presume that you will be using a page anyway. Let me know if that helps!

Hi David, that's the thing my current theme (Ribbon) doesn't have that option to choose a template like my old one did, and it does annoy me a bit.

So I might check out the plugin although it's not my fav thing to add more plugins, but we'll see. I will contact the guy who referred me here - he might know what to do about it.

Thanks Vitaly.

I have a question about long tail KW I would love to hear your opinion on:

It seems that it has become more difficult to find low competition KW because of Google rank brain. Google now better understands the overall theme of an article, and from the SERPs it seems most of the top spots are by the same pages not matter if it is a long tail KW or a shorter one. Thereby it is more difficult for a smallet and new page to find articles/topics that are not competitive.

So what are your thoughts about the possibility to find low competition KW now?

Hope I explained myself clearly enough:-) if not just let me know.

Thanks,
Mikael

This is a misconception, low competition keywords still rank well, but it has to be in combination with a lot of good content attached to it.

No matter how many competitors you have, brainstorming will help you find more keyword ideas and rank for terms your competitors have not and even if they still rank with you, you will only raise your authority above theirs if you blog more.

Thanks. That is interesting and great to hear. Appreciate your answer.

All the best,
Mikael

Hi! I'm hoping to get a straight answer as I have posted this in the classroom, on the chat and even blogged about it - to no avail. The affiliate links on my blog posts don't work. I figured out that you have to shorten the Amazon links, figured that out and those are working ok.
I have signed up some programs through Rakuten and none of those work. Here's a post if you have time to see what's up
https://topgiftsfordoglovers.com/natural-and-healthy-dog-treats
The ones with PetRX don't work and I am approved according to Rakuten.
Any insight would be great. Thanks so much, I appreciate you!

As An electrician when I get to a job and there's a problem that is not visible the next step is to fault find. No one but you is going to be able to fix this problem. Start from the beginning see if the link works first of all. Type it in your bowser if it works for you keep going. What's the next step where it could have gone wrong mabey you have embedded it wrong im not sure.

For amazon, I don't shorten links, I simply cloak them with prettylinks. I would do the same with your other affiliate program and not shorten or change anything else. This is as much as I can suggest in your situation Annie.

You should also be able to communicate with the affiliate manager at the network after you've made sure it's not a simple embed issue or link shortening issue.

I had some question I wanted to ask but you were in Vegas so I decided not to bother you. Let me think and get back to this post - even if I don't remember my original question, I am sure I will have other questions to ask! Lol

Thanks for taking your time to answer our questions, Vitaliy :)

Hello VitaliyG! Thanks so much for taking your time to offer "Ask the Super Affiliate". My question is related to PPC. I've started a new site to narrow my niche from my previous lifestyle blog site. My new site is on Entrepreneurship and the main focus for now is to get customer to convert into Business Strategy/Business Planning clients or WA clients. My site is located at www.howtoentrepreneur.org and has 9 posts there. It started on 1 Feb and so far I've gotten a little over 1000 pageviews, a good amount of shares on my articles (over 300), but no conversions into sales. I'm thinking of getting into PPC to increase the chance of clicks on my offers and conversions. What would you suggest I do before getting into PPC? Should I try each post as a landing page for a separate campaign or what would you suggest? Is PPC a good long term strategy in addition to SEO?

I would not do PPC at this time Tiffany, that typically is for product reviews. Right now, the site and topic are a bit too broad, I would narrow down the field to online marketing and making money online as a form of entrepreneurship, then when you do product reviews, to make Bing ads on those and make WA your central promotion for now.

I really appreciate your feedback and I'll make sure to implement that. I've come up with 30 post titles directed at internet marketing. I'll be pushing these articles out as soon as I can. I've been publishing one at 1200+ words per day, commenting, and promoting because I want to make this blog profit within the next 3 months. Thanks for your feedback!

Thank you. That’s so kind.
I’d like to know if there’s a plug-in that would post to all your social media with the picture from your post. I find I have to go to each one separately and upload. Especially twitter. It always post the link but no pic.
Thanks so much
Suzanne

I believe that's just 2 different topics. Plugins are only applicable to wordpress websites Suzanne. You can create a share button using a plugin like "Mashable share buttons", but if you wish to post your articles/posts/pages to social media websites, you have to do it manually.

Well that just shows how new I am. LOL. So I gather everyone does this manually!? Ok old to know. I appreciate your patience with us newbies haha
Cheers
Suzanne

Oh and I do have share buttons but they don’t add the picture most of the time.

Thank you so much Vitaliy,

Would you say that your main source for Referrals that upgrade to Premium Members come from your reviews of other platforms/programs etc.... or from PPC or from another source?

Also what is your average words/screenshots/calls to action per review?

Thank you,

Tony

80% of my traffic/referrals come from SEO campaigns Tony.
20% of that is from Bing. I only set up product review ads since they convert.

For the most part, I'd say my product review pages convert people from starter-premium.

I average 1,500 words per post or more.
Screenshots and calls to action depend on how I am writing my article/s.

I don't have a game plan in terms of quotas, the main structure is:

Explain whatever topic I am talking about.
Segway in how WA helps.
Link them to WA.

If it makes sense to put up a screenshot or call to action within the text I am writing, I will put it up there.

Thanks so much for doing this, Vitaliy. I don't know how you find the time!

I have a two-part question: what's an "SEO campaign" and how does one go about performing it?

Sharon

An SEO campaign is simply efforts you make to improve your website's rankings, aka SEO. The best way to do it is to do the training inside WA :)

Ah! Okay. I thought it might be some "master-level" thing, beyond what's in the training.

I guess I've been doing SEO campaigns all along. I just didn't know what I was doing had a name. :)

Thanks for the answer!
