​7 Years With WA...

I can still remember the hesitation I had 7 years ago... should I sign up for Wealthy Affiliate... Back then they did not have a free membership so I was worried it was another scam. My reasoning was, I will sign up for 1 month and then cancel...

Here I am 7 years later :).

My youngest is brought up with WA, she is now in Kindergarten and I have plenty of time to work with my business. So has it been all rainbows and sunshine in MY IM world this year?

Heck no.

That`s the life of IM and having your own business though. There will be ups and there will be downs, yes still after 7 years. When you promote somebody else` products they are in charge, they decide what to do with their product and their affiliates...

So why don`t I create my own product after all these years...

To be honest, at this time in my life I don`t want my own product. I love being an affiliate.

Why?

• I don`t answer to anybody but myself.
• I am in 100% control of my own time. Wich means I don`t miss the kids school parties, I take the summer off to spend with them, Christmas best time of the year...
• I don`t have to deal with product issues, refunds, payment problems, techincal issues...

I am NOT saying having your own product is a bad idea not at all, right now it is just not for me and my family.

With all the ups and down is it still worth it?

YES, YES, YES

I am having my best year yet financially!

It`s very exciting and it comes down to a few things...

• Commitment
• Focus
• Determination
• Patience
• Push through the ”Downs”

IM is not ”hard” after you push through the learning curve, but it takes discipline and honesty towards yourself and your business.

I thought I should leave you with some helpful content too.

Weather you are new to IM and websites or if you have been doing this for years you always need new ideas for your site. You need ideas for helpful, good content. So where do you get it?

These are my current favorites...

5 Favorite Places to Get Content Ideas

1.Buzzsumo - type in a keyword and this site will show you what`s popular, what people like and share through social media.

2.The News – google news, your local news, niche related news.

3.Question sites like Quora and Yahoo Answers.

4.Other authority sites in my niche, what are they writing about. Not suggesting to copy anything just get content ideas.

5.Amazon reviews – depending on your niche this can be very useful. Read the reviews, see what people like and don`t like... can give you some great content ideas.

I go to post this and see Dom`s post – When you run out of things to post.

LOL we must have been on the same page today.
