Time is Drawing Nigh - Where to from Here?
Sitting at my desk yesterday typing away on the Wealthy Affiliate Site Comment Ultimate Writing Platform, I saw the remaining time to accept the Black Friday offer quickly diminishing. Of course, time lessens precisely by the clock, but being highly aware of how fast time moves I decided it's now or never for me.
In 2015, I upgraded to WA Premium membership, followed the training, other than video classes, and was satisfied with my progress.
In 2020, after ten years in action, my high-quality laptop was worn out and needed replacing. Rather than consulting the company from which I purchased that laptop and other devices from, I decided to go alone, and what a mistake I made.
It was a struggle to come to terms with a painfully slow laptop. Consequently, my websites didn't get the attention they deserved, and I lost heart, leaving no choice other than to start over again, or give up.
To Be or Not to Be
Whilst contemplating whether to move on or away from WA I was getting nowhere. All I knew was that my hard work during previous years was becoming worthless.
The thought of leaving Wealthy Affiliate in no way appealed to me then, and neither does it now. If I were to leave WA, that would be the end of my affiliate journey.
During the past two years, I have been strongly affected by health issues. There is no way I will allow those to stop me from moving forward and doing what I love most: working on restoring and improving my two websites, and I cannot do that without the support of Wealthy Affiliate.
Kyle and Carson, the founders and owners of Wealthy Affiliate, are exceptionally helpful and care about the progress of each WA member.
Wealthy Affiliate is the only business I've known where members requiring assistance, are welcome to connect with Leaders and promptly receive the help they need.
I am not ready to leave WA or downgrade from Premium Plus to Premium.
As it so happend, on waking during last night and taking a peep at my mobile, there was a message of congratulations from Kyle on taking up the 2023 Black Friday offer. So there you go, that's the beauty of setting automatic actions on our websites. Of course, I did know that automatic renewal was in the pipe line, but hadn't taken notice of the date!
I'm looking forward to being involved in the community, restoring my websites and learning what I need to know about AI.

Your message is timely...I came really close to dropping WA completely this Black Friday. I cannot afford Premium Plus right now, so decided to downsize to Premium. However, am so glad I've opted to remain in WA. At my age (85) it's the one really creative, ongoing and uplifting thing I do. Without it, my life would be dull, dull, dull! There is so much here, not just with training and support, but with connections to other members. I would miss it terribly if I quit. Therefore, here I am -- downsized but happy!
That's wonderful, Fran. I know exactly what your mean. You and I have a lot in common! Life without WA - well, I can't bare to think about it. I seriously considered downsizing to Premium, but I'm pleased I made it to PP+ as I have so much updating needed on my two websites. Well, I've started a little back to front. I should have continued with my previous message.
So, I thought it a good idea to mention our time differences. It is 5.55pm Thursday 30th September in New Zealand right now. No doubt there is a big difference in time between us. Of course, there is no problem there, but just to say that my responses will happen.
We've done quite well with time-frame right now so that's a good start.
