Top 200 achieved!
My initial plan was to achieve top 200 by Dec 2016. This is quite amazing and great feedback to reach the top 200 four months ahead of schedule.
The great thing about the WA Ranking system is that it shows you how you are doing in the three categories of Helper, Creator and Activity. From 1st of August I started tracking the progress on these metrics. It helped as a reminder of where I was doing well and where I needed to focus on.
The takeaway from this is that I now need such metrics for my niche websites. One of these is the site health, which has useful categories like Publishing Frequency, Content Quality and Variety, Visitor Engagement, Your (my) engagement, Site Trust, and Website Feedback.
So starting today, I will record these and track them on a daily basis. I noticed on one of my sites I slacked in update frequency because I was busy changing the themes because i felt the theme was not working from feedback I got. I dropped from a light blue to orange. If I visually put it up and track it, I will be able to better manage it.
I know it will take more work to remain in the top 200 and by extension it will take more work to increase my site health and hence ranking which will eventually lead to sales.
Thank you for all the support with feedback and answers to my many questions. I am enjoying this ride.
