Thanks for checking up on me. I am actually doing very well. My focus has shifted from WA to my offline business and my niche. There is opportunity for growth which requires my focused attention to the extend of me outsourcing some of my online activity. So yes, my rank has been floating away somewhat but not to worry, I will continue to pop in a couple of times a week.

Tracking, no not really. Is it helpful?

It has its part. It can you an indication of the effects of your efforts, how people navigate your site, and maybe you find things to change and check they have an effect or not.

Fantastic, I actually shut down my Facebook account and I've pretty much stayed out of it for about two years now as I found it to be a waste of fruitful time but now I have a reason to rekindle it as a support structure to my planned online business and the same principle should apply really on internal customers and my South African network can be my organic sales market where people can actually interface with me if they are curious or in doubt about what WA can do for them also whilst buying products and services on my recommendation and personal experience.I will stay in touch as I need to if that is on with you brother.

That's is true. I did the same with my Facebook page. It was inactive until I joined WA. Same with twitter. I also had the opportunity to market face to face with interested colleagues as well. Some came on board and others are still in customer purchasing cycle st various stages. This training is very useful.

Hi Victor.

First thing is that I absolutely love and enjoy WA, the value I get from the lessons, wisdom, motivation I get from other people's posts, the quick response time and useful input I get when I ask questions and the support and encouragement I get whenever I post a blog. These are my key drivers to my activity.

Additionally, I just love writing, motivating and encouraging others.

As to my routine, I have a tracking chart on my wall next to my desk with a number of metrics. I have ranking metrics, WA posts, referral stats, niche site health metrics and lately marketing target metrics. Every morning I update the metrics to track my progress. It shows me where I am active and where I am lagging. This gives me what to focus on for the day and the next few days. For task management I use my outlook calender. I scheduled recurring tasks for activities. Outlook then reminds me when the task is due, then I can action postpone or reschedule it.

I get ideas throughout the day so I jot them down on my phone or my outlook calendar or as a voice note. I also get ideas from Google alerts. I also have trunk full of unpublished writings which I get ideas and some posts from.

Specific to WA, I spend some time checking questions other people ask and answering when I can or just learning from the answers. I check my notifications or level one course and Boot Camp 1 and comment or respond to questions. I also take time to welcome about 10 newcomers and congratulate 5 premium upgrades. I also read and comment on other peoples posts that I find interesting.

And going forward, rank will have a factor of your niche website activity so do not neglect that. That is the while idea we are here for. So in your plan, make sure there is a plan to keep that active.

Above all, I have always been writing as far as I remember. As you can see I may just go on writing so I will stop here. Hopefully you can find one useful thing in that blab haystack.

Thank you very much. It is indeed. I grew up in a rural area before moving to the city. I miss it so much hence my desire for nature for me and my family.

I totally understand that. I grew up in the Alaskan bush. We were on a lake with a 7,600 ft mountain just a mile away! We could look up at the mountain and see wild Dall sheep. There were swans and ducks on the lake and you could hear wolves howl.

We had huge gardens and greenhouses and grew much of our own food. I had a dog team. It was a totally different life. I MISS it soooo much. I am lucky to still live in Alaska so I still have moose and birds but I am in the largest city in the state. I have insisted on staying in the house we rent so that I can have some green space rather than buy a little condo or something.

I have a large yard and flowers and raspberries.

Good for you, wanted to share that sort of life with your family!
