My Definition - Carefree: doing something that you really enjoy without being too concerned with what others think or the consequences.
Example: You've always wanted to attend an international soccer match where some of the world's best players were playing. Now you have the opportunity and you purchase your ticket even though it costs you almost your entire salary.
You go to the game and jump and holler inspite of the looks that you are getting from spectators around you and when a goal is scored you hug and kiss (on the cheek) the person next to you.
Their partner gives you a warning look but you just smile and go back to celebrating,
Hope this helps,
Russell

As long as you don't start writing about a completely unrelated topic you'll be fine. i.e. unrelated topic such as how to swing a golf club.
This is really a personal preference type of thing. Take my site as an example. Although I'm focused on the DJI Mavic series of drones I still cover general drone stuff sometimes. I try to find a balance between being able to provide enough relevant content while staying related to my niche.
