Surprise Lesson For Today
Last night before I went to bed, I decided to have a quick check on my site. There was a new comment...cool! Then I saw the name and website and decided to check them out as I do like to return the favour. The name: Ryan Buddulph ... the site: Blogging From Paradise ... cool! So I had a look, checked out his credentials then double (and triple) checked because there were so many credentials it sounded too good to be true. Then I went to his site and then his Twitter (I got a mention there too!) and then sat back and had an "oh my...." moment. ... I got noticed! A major blogger spent 2 minutes reading my blog, commenting and sharing on his Twitter!
Then it occurred to me that I've spent so much time in training and working on posts and whatnot that I forgot there's an outside world with some really amazing bloggers to follow and learn from. How many times have we heard in training to spend time out there and look at the work of others in and related to our niches? Yeah...I finally got it.
I spent time today reading some of his posts and seeing what he's about and one little vid of his on Facebook repeated what our training has been saying all along... be patient and write...lots...and focus on being generous and helping people and don't obsess over selling...it will come in time.
So! My big lesson for today...write more but get my nose out of my books once in a while and spend time out there connecting with others.
I hope you have a great day and spend some time "out there".

Congratulations, that's a wonderful surprise! I agree, there are lots of wonderful folks out there, and after your WA training you can spot them so much more easily. Keep up the great job!
So true, I am a networking fool by nature, but I have learned to read a lot of bloggers as well and check out peoples work.
It is helping me quite a bit.
I am in a hurry to get my work off the ground, and listening to webinars like 3 hrs at a time is working.
Much success, and enjoyed reading your info.
Thanks! Yes, there's so much we can learn just by seeing what others are doing.
Best of luck to you! :)
