7. Place your RSS button at the top of the sidebar (Strategic location)
Most blogging platforms provide in-built RSS feeds by default though you may still need to find numerous ways outside the platform to increase the number of subscribers that should be added to the list from day to day.
Now, if you want to activate the RSS button on your blog, you must place it in a strategic location where it can easily and quickly be seen by your readers.
The kind of RSS button installed and activated may greatly determine the number and category of people that will subscribe to your blog at one time or the other.
8. Submit your site to search engines and blog directories
There are thousands of directories online where you can submit your blog in order to get found more quickly. They're so many out there that you may have to spend the whole of the days, weeks and months submitting your blog URL. In fact, you don't have to waste a lot of your time doing that in as much as you have better things to do with your time in the job of building a Page Rank for your blog.
So, while trying to submit your blog URL to search engines and directories, do it moderately and get back to your normal work which is implementing working tactics as well as following the basics of blogging.
All the little efforts you put in daily will count and sum up to success eventually. Adding or submitting your blog to directories moderately will help you get attention faster than not doing it at all unless you do other things consistently and persistently.
