The three methods I used:

Method A- is used to filter unwanted bot crawls in your website.

Method B - is used, to block unwanted Bots from your website.

Method C - uses a plugin ro disable external copy or paste funtions used on your website

Each method has the same result. You can use all three, for added measure (as I did) or just decide on the one that is more specific to your website needs:

Method A - Filter Unwanted Site Bots From Crawling Your Website

    This part is for the people who do not want Google Analytics showing up unwanted bot crawls that can create an unusual spike in their reports.

    Such reported spikes, can have a negative impact when registering for new affiliate programs and also with Google Adsense.

    I will not add this first step in my training because I found a really good one already created by Apache1:

    Follow his training, as it shows how to filter these unwanted bot sites using Google Analytics.

    Method B - Block Unwanted Bots From Viewing Your Website

    This method uses WordPress (WP) AIO (All-In-One) SEO Bad Bot Blocker.

    1. By now everyone should know how to use WP, if you are new and do not know how to, then please follow this training by Boomergp08:

    2. Next you will need to open up the All-In-One SEO Pack in your WP dashboard, as seen below:

    3. Click on 'Bad Bot Blocker' (activate it, if you have not done so, already).

    You are welcome dear Louise, hopefully I have helped you to prevent what I went through.

    I am actually banned permanently from Google Adsense and got declined by a few other affiliate programs because I had no idea that people were copying my sites and using them for X-rated adult sites!

    Anyway, be very careful and protect your online assets and the best to your success here my friend :)

    That's shocking! I would be finished if that has happened to my site! I am so sorry, Saane. It's just so hard to understand what motivates some people - their lives must be truly awful to make them do this kind of thing.
    Now I am nervous to go and check - but it's something that has to be done.

    Have you tried showing Google Adsense the evidence of what has happened to turn the permanent ban around? There must be something or someone who can help with changing that. What a harsh penalty. Same with the affiliate programs who have declined you. Perhaps Kyle, Carson, Jay or one of the Ambassadors can assist you with that?

    It's okay dear,
    I was hurt when Google AdSense declined me twice. I wrote and explained what I found but they said no. I don't think I will use them anymore, really they should be on to it and blocking these bots from their analytics in the first place. I am at peace now that I know what has been happening. Site support have been as helpful as they can be, but I think these bots are quite a new issue.
