4. Place a 'check' (√) mark in each of the small boxes next to - 'Track Blocked Bots' and 'Use Custom Blocklist' (NOTE: If you do not wish to, track the blocked bots, then leave this box unchecked).
5. The two empty boxed text frames will then, be automatically pre-filled, with a default list, of Bad Bots (this is similar to a 'black book' of unwanted scam sites and htmls).
- The User Agent Blocklist is for the name of the agent/ip/source that you want blocked.
- The Referer Blocklist is for the domain name that you wish to block.
6. Now, enter each of the agent and domain name, that you had reported to Google and Site Support (in the previous lesson) straight into, each of the boxed text frames.
NOTE: Refrain from deleting any of the existing list - as these are bad bots that WordPress AIO SEO - has already been made aware of, and used as part of its security.IF YOU DO DELETE THESE, then you will unleash pandora's box of bad bots on your site.
Using your mouse, click, an insert, inside the text box next to the first name that is listed. Hit the 'Enter' key on the keyboard, and this will move the list down one line, leaving an empty space to start tryping in your own custom list.
