Hello, I a bit confused. If I understand, correctly your post is #1 on Google but not ranking for the keyword that you intended?
As long as your post is ranking, it doesn't matter what the keyword is. Google sees it, and people are finding it, and it is bringing in traffic.
If you mess with it, you may lose your #1 ranking.
If I have misunderstood your intention, please explain it better.
Laura
Ok. Thank you for your input. Yeah you understood me correctly. I probably need to give it more time to move up to where I'd like it to be for the exact keyword.

Hi Neksummi, Laura makes a good point. Seems like everything is working well for you with this article. Messing around may have negative consequences.
If it ain't broke don't try to fix it.
I personally would leave things the way they are, and write another great post.
All the best,
Michael
Thanks Michael for your response. It actually ain't broken so I'll just let it be and hope Google would be nicer to for my number 1 keyword.
You are doing great Neksummi. I think you made the right choice of leaving things the way they are.
I am sure you are going to write many more posts that are going to rank number one with the keyword.
Best wishes,
Michael
I just checked and this one is already coming up. It's now on page 4! I have over 160 comments on the article and with my replies, we have 312 comments! I'm sure it's just a matter of time before it gets to page 1 and number 1 for my desired keyword.
I thought I could make the process faster but I'll let it take a natural course.
Thanks.

I have $1000 I want to put into paid promotions to promote my affiliate links for faster results while I await my websites to gather momentum and start getting organic traffic.
As the others have mentioned, I would follow the PPC Training here.
You can target Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook and even Linkedin
You could try Facebook boosted ads. Set up a business account if you don't have one already. Then pick desired location and demographics for your budget. Request link click results.
I have a personal Facebook account. Do i need to set up a separate business account or do I need to set it up within my business account?
I did not understand the statement, "Request link click results" you wrote. Could you clarify what you meant please?
You need a business account, which is free and easy to set up. You are able to request types of reports.
I chose link clicks, so I see number of views and number of link clicks. There are other options, but none so important for me as link clicks.
The cost is based on length of time your ad runs and coverage - statewide, nationwide etc.
Hi Neksummi - There is an entire classroom here at WA dedicated to paid per click (PPC) marketing. There are a few courses and several tutorials within the classroom that might interest you and/or be useful for you.
You can find the classroom here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/pay-per-click-marketing
Building a list and email marketing might also be an avenue you wish to explore. You can find training on this here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/email-marketing
Good luck, Shannon

Like Phil, I would also go with Ad Inserter, it made my life a whole lot easier and I've used it on a few other occasions.
That said, if Site Support can do the job rapido, then why not.
i would use ad inserter plugin - this way if you need to change it or add to it in the future you have control.
good luck

i am having a hard time getting the right keywords for my content creation
Find the main keywords you want to write about then use Jaaxy to drill down and find long-tail keywords that you rank easier for. I would make sure the search volume is at least 200 to make it worth it.
Trust this helps :)
I like to get my article ideas together. Then, research applicable key words via the alphabet soup process. Good luck!
