So there we have it! Building your Pinterest following can be done simply and strategically. All you need to do is focus on your competitors in your niche and leverage their network to build your own.

Don't forget to:

  • Follow your competitors
  • Follow your competitors followers, and those they are following
  • Follow your competitors group boards (and the other collaborators)
  • Find popular pins and follow the people who are pinning them.

I hope that this tutorial has helped you build your Pinterest following. I'd love to hear your results in the Comments below.

If you have other tips that've helped you build your following, let me know too - I'm always up for new ideas!

I use Pinterest and , as with all social media, I keep my activity there very niche specific. Much as I like knitting and dogs my niche is motorcycles - and I only pin and re-pin motorcycle related pins. When people I follow have multiple boards I only follow their motorcycle related boards. This is beginning to work for me.

Thank you for this training - I will start exploring people who have re-pinned a in as you suggest.
