4. Make Use of Jealousy

Generally speaking, I don't think that jealousy is a good thing and personally I always make sure not to let even the tiniest bit of jealousy enter my heart.

However, if for example, you happen to read one of the success stories and you can't help but get jealous (a little or a lot), then why not make use of it?

What do I mean by "make use of jealousy"?

Well, what I mean is making use of this sense of jealousy and turning it into the best motivator.

I talk about the feeling that makes one think "I am not worse than someone else" and do the work for A+.

Look at your colleagues.

  • Who just recently finished his project, blog post, training tutorial etc?
  • Who achieved success?
  • Who could you compete with and show to that you can be at your best?

Did you choose your opponent?

And then get started!

Prove to yourself that you CAN DO IT, no matter who you are competing with.
