Helen, at the moment I am a dry cleaner, but currently have the business on the market, so i am looking for a home based business to do once I am finished with this business. i am hoping this is my answer to my unemployment

update 25/2/2016 Hi everyone I have been in wa for one year now, very slow start, had a few problems with some of the lessons, but with the help of my friends have been able to work them out, the one thing I am determined to do is NOT give up, more time would be great but I am just plodding along , I need to make this work and I will . thanks to so many people who have helped me, i have done so many training lessons and live replays that has been so great, will give another update this time next year with a lot more hopeful results, onward and upward cheers Helen.

Hello Helen....my wife and I once had a dry cleaning "sub station" in that we operated a carpet cleaning service business out of the location....we took in dry cleaning and appeared to be a dry cleaning store, but only as a store front.

I love service business, but am now too old to do the heavy work...so I am building websites.

Welcome aboard....

Hi Helen

I'm a plodder too and there's nothing wrong with that! Don't ever apologise for reading blogs - they're great - but they are distracting from the task at hand. Your main task is your website/s, so get that/them up first, then you can read some blogs - but just maybe not all...

Good luck!

Cheers

Hi sounds like your on the right track. I just started. There is alot to take in. I have been taking the first classers a few times . I know I needed to make sure I was on the right track. I am giving it my all. Noone wants to fail. Or certainly give up. I feel taking the classers a few times is giving me a better understanding on how to get a business on line and reach my goals. Its not going to happen over night.DPezzimenti

Hello Helen, keep chugging along and you will get there. I look at WA as a college. It may take some of us 2 years to learn the basics and another 2 years to master this affiliate business. But if we hang in there it will pay off. Thanks for following me and the bet of luck to you.

Way to go Helen! At 62, I'm still at it. Never give up! When one door close another one opens, and when you walk in keep working until you have your reward. I have worked for others, and owned my own. Now I'm working on owning a piece of e-commerce. We will do it! WA gave me that motivation and connect that I needed.

Thanks for following me, and how many domains do you have? I have the feeling you have more than one, and how ate they going?

Hi Helen! Thank you so much for following me :) I know how it feels to seem like you're moving along slower than the rest of the members. I've actually been on here a few months longer than you and I've hardly done much on here. Sometimes I feel bad when I think about it, but I have to remember that I was going through different things and some days I just really wasn't feeling well. They're not excuses, they're just obstacles we're trying to get around. Hang in there, I just know things will be very different for you by next year. Things are already turning around a bit for me.

Thanks for adding me to your network, Helen, I will add you to mine as well. So...it has been more than a year since you joined and I hope you are seeing some results from your work and are becoming self-sufficient. It 's a process so if you're not there yet, press on and don't give up, it will happen. I started last November/2015 and I haven't seen a dime yet but I know it will happen and long as I keep working. Quitting is not an option.

All the best.

Hello Helen, many thanks for your generous follow, compliment is returned. Keep on developing your knowledge and skills to develop your Website.
Priority should be concentrating on the training items, rather than spending oudles of valuable time reading blogs that contribute little in the way of advancement in web development,.... unless of course your priority is increasing your circle of friendships.. and that is worthwhile goal too.
Ask for help immediately you encounter any difficulty however small, answers to most questions are readily available here at WA
Every good wish for all and any of your future endeavours
Best Regards David

Hello Helen, Thank you so much for including me in your network. I hope you have had circumstances work out since your last update! How have you been doing toward your goals? I've found that even though adversity had interrupted my own goals, from encouragement within the WA community, and the resetting of those goals have been reinforcing to not give up. Look forward to hearing more from you!

Hi Suzi I have had a terrible last couple of weeks, but hopefully I can get back on track and continue, my biggest fear is content, just can t seem to make any headway regarding this topic, any tips? thank you for your concern cheers Helen

One thing that may influence going forward is letting it be okay that you've had a time of it and gotten off track. I mean that in the most sincere way.

Setting aside for circumstances does not mean your dreams, your intent, or your goals are a wash up. If I hadn't found a way to do that over the last several months I would be paralyzed by frustration and that inner negative voice (that needs to take a hike).

Think "Today is going forward..." Especially so, if your day includes hesitation, a half step backwards, or life circumstances that you don't have control over. However, believe you do have control to begin to write content.

Had you started a website and not posted it? Have you decided on a niche? That's more difficult for some than others. Definitely was for me. Consider what your topic of discussion is. Who would you like to engage with through a website? How would you discuss your niche with your neighbor or friend? Draw on that concept for a written conversational tone.

Can you share that in a short blog here at WA? It may help shatter to pieces whatever it is holding you back.

Hope this begins to provide some inspiration!

I've some other ideas to help :) I'll put them together Saturday morning. Running on very little sleep at the moment though...

Can't wait to hear more on the direction you'd like to go with a niche!
