I need help. When I slide pages or posts to arrange as sub-pages and save they revert to menu items rather than subpages in the menu. Has anyone had this problem? Tina

If you want items to dropdown from the menu, you need to indent them as shown here http://d.pr/i/pMIA and then save the menu using the blue button. :) Rich.
Hi Rich, My problem is when I drag the items to indent and hit save the button. The items pop right back over. Tina
OK, that's a "first" ! :) I'd eliminate the theme as the potential issue, so if you're comfortable switch to another theme temporarily and try it there and see if it works, it's possible your theme doesn't "support" dropdown menus. You could also set up a "test" siterubix site if you don't want to try this with your main site. :) Rich.

Hi, Tina. I've worked for a while in my website but haven't started to work on SEO. I'll be happy if you could take a look at it and let me know what you think. Of course, feel free to promote it and let me know if there is anything I could do to help you.
Thanks

Hi, I'm building and English grammar site on http://crimsonleaf.org.uk/ which is designed to help people who are unsure of which words to use in a given situation - fewer or less, whose and who's etc. It sprung from some training I did here. I'd be honoured if you did an honest review...
Paul - my honest review of crimsonleaf. I LOVE it! I've not used anything of the sort before.
-I like the bite-sized grammar lessons.
-The response to my "test" grammar I sent was super QUICK!
-You do have a spelling error in 1st paragraph (encyclopaedia).
-Love the crimson leaf image!
I think this is something homeschoolers can definitely use! May I feature your blog in November? Tina
Thanks Tina, and of course you can. By the way, encyclopaedia is the correct spelling. So is colour and valour. It's you lot who get it wrong. One day, when you all decide that a monarchy is a better idea than the political mess you currently have, and you invite us back to rule you, we'll insist that Americans spell words correctly. No "Z"s in the place of "S"s; A "u" in every word where you've taken them out. And programme spelled correctly, like the French do.
Just you wait.

For example:There is a grant available to kids with special needs to apply for holiday gifts. The application must be submitted by Nov 4th.
If I write a post it will show
I'm assuming that you want your regular traffic to come across it? You can always throw it up in the main menu as a temporary thing. Just take the "links" route in creating menu items.
Tina, make the blog post a sticky. Go to dashboard>all posts, identify the post and click "quick edit". On the lower right of the expanded box is a tick box which say "make post sticky".
It will always stay at the top of your blog roll. After 4th November you can untick the box and let it disappear gracefully.
Hi Tina - you could have it listed in a separate "Important Items" menu on the right hand side of your website - so for example, I have a few pages and posts, but I also have permanently on the screen:
Important Pages
...Getting Started
...How to create your own FREE website
...About Me
...Privacy Policy
You could have something similar - and then just remove it after the deadline has passed.
Would that help at all?
All the best, Mark
