Authoring & Writing Content

Is anyone using AI software to write blog posts? if so which ones? also what does WA guidance on blog post writing from AI?

WA could care less if you use AI to write a blog post here. As for Google, it is against the guidelines as they consider it to be spam.

But this is a contested subject. You have Google telling you you can't use AI. When Google and all the other major news and financial institutions and more use AI to create content.

Now as it stands Google's algorithm cannot detect content created by AI.

And AI is not what it once was back in the early 2000s with shitty content spinners. Today it's GPT-3 AI writing tools. However, if their spam team comes across content they consider spam they could take action.

AI has its place and it can help with idea generation and speed up the production of content.

Yes, you can use AI to help with creating content but you certainly don't want to use the content it creates as is.

If you use AI. You should add your personal influence to your AI-generated content by at least 70%.

And I say that because that AI tool you're using is copying other people’s work that already exists online. So you’re really just altering the words and ideas of others.

So when using an AI tool to write content - you're following not leading.

Here's an article from search engine watch that will bring more light to your inquiry.

Hope this helps.

No, though I've looked into some sites. It's best to stick with writing organic blog posts because AI doesn't engage with readers and viewers as a human being would; also, those subscription fees are a huge turnoff for people already on a budget but still building a website. I honestly wouldn't recommend AI software

Hi - as it currently stands, using artificially generated content is still against Google's guidelines.

AI is not always the best, my friend! There are still a lot of issues with it, my friend!

Jeff

They are good for an outline and a brainstorm however I would still write my own content original in my own words. I heard of Jasper AI.

There's tendency to pay for cost of subscription and not rank in Google, thus double loss.

This is the often misunderstood part. Where many folks are getting into trouble with AI is twofold.

One, they don't edit it and it lacks personality. This makes it easily identifiable as AI produced and there has been a lot of vocalization from Google on combatting the use of AI. Many believe this latest round of several updates is Google seeking to take ranking away from them.

The second which is absolutely deadly for any serious blogger is they are renowned for providing wrong information. This is a killer for anyone wanting to establish themselves as an authority on their niche.

I believe however that they can be an invaluable tool as you mention here for an outline. They can quickly identify areas of interest once one feeds in keywords for them to work with, providing an excellent outline for one to follow.

I am amazed at how much information you have over such a wide variety of topics. Coupled with your help everywhere I go here in my short time at WA I wonder when you ever get a chance to sleep, lol.

I just bought a lifetime subscription to one last week to use on blogs I plan on flipping. I want to focus mostly on my main blog yet still have time to work on these other blogs. This is a good tool to save me some time structuring/outlining those posts.

Hello All,

I stumbled across an affiliate program as we marketers call it which I’m finding really good success with. Nearly daily sales with multiple ways to make

Sorry, it's a NO!

Hi,
We are not really allowed to share our affiliate links. Here is what you could do though is you could pop your website in your profile. Then you could write a post about it here and let people know that you have written about it more on your website. Let them know to check out your links in you main bio page.

Another good way to do this is do a quick website also like a landing page maybe and pop that also in your bio. Just let people know it is there.
Sharing links can lose us our write access. Hope that helps a little more.
Debs :)

Thanks Deb. I think this is exactly what I'll do, make a quick website, put it in bio, and submit here for review. This way it will be forum rules compliant!

And since then 7 blog posts later, I have ranked on p1 of Google for 2ndary term, was on bing p1 for a while just slipped to p2 for primary word.

No that is considered spam and could get you banned. But you can post your own website address on your profile page.

Ok thanks that’s why I wanted to ask first! You mean post website link on my profile?

Yes pop in your links on your main profile page. :)
