Wise Leadership Plan To Consider And Follow
John Maxwell is a best-selling author, coach and speaker.
He is renowned for his leadership coaching.
The concept that I read from him is a wise leadership plan to consider and follow.
Play To Your Strengths
To achieve all round great success in our lives we need to focus on our strengths.
John Maxwell uses King Solomon who died in 931 BC.as an example and he is known as one of the wisest kings.
King Solomon was sought after, people wanted to learn from him, rub shoulders with him and gain influence that he had attained.
70:25:5 PRINCIPLE
The principle that John Maxwell introduces is basic. He says our time should be split as follows:-
- Give 70% of your time to your areas of strength
- Give 25% of your time to areas you want to improve
- Give 5% of your time to the areas of your weakness
Are you primarily focusing on your areas of strength?
What is your opinion on the 70:25:5 principal?

Interesting...I've read one or two of his books, which book does he discuss this principle, Tania.
Sounds legit , but my familia comes first. Period. That s how we roll in my world. Not that that technique is without merit. Perhaps sometime down the road I will try it and see if it works. Interesting post. Thank you.
Xav.
This is the first that I'm hearing about this but it makes total sense. Thanks for sharing this!
Yes, me too and I love doing what I enjoy, so am happy to establish this principal firmly into all spheres of my life!
That is wisely use the capital of life - sensible but often swayed by political correctness, i.e., sweet talk and sympathy.
Much appreciated,
James
Hi Tania,
You are completely right in your opinion of 75:25:5 principle. There is no need one wasting time in what he knows he will not do well. I can quickly add that sometimes peserviearance and consistency can also bring perfection that's my opinion.
Yes, we definitely need perseverance and consistency to enjoy success. Thank you for taking the time to read and leave a comment.

Yes I'd agree, except that I'd include my weaknesses in things I wanted to improve, making that 30%.
Now there is another way of looking at it!
