WA Network layout has been updated, this will save time!
I just clicked on my network button and was surprised to see it has been completely updated! Yay! This will save me a ton of time when I look for all the people following me that I have not followed yet!
I try to read the profile of every person before I follow them so I know:
1) When they joined WA...it would be rude to say "Welcome to WA" if they have been here for years!!
2) A little about them so I have some idea who I am talking to
3) If we have anything in common so I can give them a better welcome
It was slow to wade through the old list so this way I can quickly see everyone whose profiles I still need to read and get caught up!
Thanks Kyle, Carson and whomever is responsible for this update!

That's interesting Jessica. I actually found that it was faster the other way because I could sort by follow date to quickly see the most recent followers. Looking at it now, I think it may be sorted that way by default, but I also can't see the date they followed me on or anything else.
My big thing was that I could tell who was premium and who wasn't. After the 7 day trial period, I would consider starter members "hollow follows". That's probably not true in all cases because they could upgrade eventually and may still read your posts even though they can't comment on them, but I'm guessing it's true in most cases.
Oh I just had another thought though. The way that it shows up now, is actually the way it always showed up before if you clicked view all on your profile page. So actually you could have done this before, and this update really just removes a feature without actually adding thing.
I've fallen into that trap occasionally. I try not to be in such a hurry as to miss essential bio facts!
It really is quite an improvement! I do the same thing Jessica but you are much more popular than I am and rightfully so!
I see others are not happy with this change since you can't sort the followers now I guess. On the other hand I can get through them so much faster now I still prefer this version.
Yes, I don't like auto responses that are identical for every single person. A follow with nothing behind it (no one actually reading you profile or deciding to follow you, just following everyone) seems kind of hollow. I understand the need to automate sometimes and I will copy a similar message and paste it into many profiles but I will try to customize it enough to distinguish a new from an existing member, say something encouraging or congratulatory as appropriate, add their name if handy etc.
A hollow follow! Great description!. I too have gotten those, but then when I write something on their profile, usually they write something back on either my or their own profile. And then it´s a filled follow.
LOL I was going to make the same comment and then scrolled down a little farther and saw you beat me to it. We have coined to new terms. A "hollow follow" and a "filled follow". Nice work you two. :)
I always try to give original replies according to the bio, I can't imagine doing anything else......
