Of the Top 100 Rank and Reflections
I had to think many times over whether or not to write a post on my cracking the top 100 rank here in WA. Personally, it’s not something I’m really ecstatic about that I need to shout it out loud. However, this is a landmark in my timeline and I’m going to post this, more as a reminder of my journey here.
I’ll be completing one month here in Wealthy Affiliate tomorrow and being able to sit on a 98 rank (as of today) within the first month itself is something I’ll remember for a long time. In one of the posts here from a fellow WAer, I was asked what my secret was for being able to climb up the ranks fast. I said I don’t have any. I just did the usual – follow my training in certification, complete the given tasks in the lessons, ask questions in live chat or post question whenever I have doubts or when I needed better explanation, follow people (both seniors and newcomers like myself), write a few blog posts, build my niche website, post a few questions, interact with people here. Nothing more than that. But I think I have been honest with myself all this time. I knew my limitations, tried to learn all the nitty gritties without leaving any speck of doubt in my mind and accepted the challenges head on.
The journey, in itself, hasn’t been nowhere smooth and I faced all the usual difficulties of a newcomer. I have never been into internet marketing or online business, as one calls it. But WA has made things simple for me.
My progress so far:
- Completed Level 2 in Certification – right now, in Course 3, Lesson 8
- Started Affiliate Bootcamp – Phase 1, Lesson 2
- Following 394 people; Followed by 205
- Website indexed in Google – appears on page 1
- Referrals – nil (the figure under that aeroplane still has 100)
- Blog posts – 8; Questions – 12
- Rank – 98
The bulwarks:
- Google hasn’t approved my website for AdSense till now (already rejected twice).
- The progress bar on my dashboard is stuck at Course 3, Lesson 8 even though I have moved further. This is because I skipped the tasks on adding AdSense to my site since I’m still waiting for Google’s approval. So despite my moving on to the next level, there is no progress shown in the progress bar.
- I’m not able to attend webinars live because of the odd timings here in my place.
It has been an incredible one month here. I have gained much knowledge in such a short time, yet I feel it’s only the beginning. In the end, I can only thank my friend who had initiated me into joining WA. Life, I think, has changed for the better since.

A good example of just what can be accomplished just by following along consistently with the training. Congratulations!

Thanks! I'm just sticking to the basics and keeping everything simple. I cannot afford to complicate things more than what they already are at the moment. I have to constantly remind myself not to become too impatient :)
Thanks! I'm already looking ahead now. I hope I will not be clumsy anymore. I'm eager to learn more than ever before.

Time for a pause, I think. I'm looking ahead with more confidence now.
