It is right but not down i believe. Some one will always read and make comment. Best Advise is keep writing regularly makes it easy for writer and the reader i believe. Hope it helps.
When do we stop writing contents for our site? I think that I want to stop writing at 100 and focus on another website. Is this okay? I feel that visitors do not really spe
Rebecca, I feel the same as you do with one of my sites. However, I do know that if I stop publishing content to it now all my efforts will have been worthless.
Other members' comments are very helpful.
Thank you for asking the question.
Would be a shame to stop working on your site.
There are many good reasons to keep writing. It will help you gain more authority, it will help you gain higher rankings and more organic traffic. This all leads to greater opportunities for you to earn more money.
Personally I for example have a website that was just starting to get traction and good rankings after 100 articles. If I had stopped working on it then, I would not have really made any money on it.
Do not see it as one person will read all your articles, because you are right that they probably will not. But see it as an overall strategy to keep growing traffic, higher rankings, and income.
Hope this helps,
Mikael
Visitors are coming to your website via a keyword, they don't land always on the homepage. So every post, with another keyword, drives visitors to your website.
When your website is "active" in the eyes of Google, Google will present your website in the search results, a for a longer time, inactive website will get down in ranking.
When you decide to start working on a new website, it's sensible to create at least one or two posts a month on this current one, to keep your website under Google's attention.

What happens to my website if I cannot work on it for say 4 to 6 months? I don't want to close my site, I want it to stay online, but I won't have the capacity to work on it i
If you’re not doing anything with your site and you’re not going to be able to do anything with your site for 6 months, there’s really no reason to be spending money on it to continue to have it hosted. It’s not getting traffic or earning you money just sitting there.
It's completely up to you. I would personally consider upgrading to the yearly option as it is less of an expense to keep your site up, $29/month as opposed to $49/month, and your site will be right here where you left it. No monthly dues, you'd be paid up for a full year.
I don't know how much content you have and how much traffic you get. It's a personal choice :)
I’m not sure I understand.
Are you on the monthly membership? If so, the auto renewal means you’re paying $49/month automatically.
No Eric, I am paying yearly but the renewal is also in auto. That is why I have to advise WA a month before renewal if I am cancelling my subscription otherwise it will be renewed w/o asking me.
Ok good, so you're yearly. That's definitely the best option to have if you're going to be away for a while. It sounds like you're confused about a couple of things though.
You can cancel your yearly membership renewal at any time. It doesn't have to be a month before renewal. It can even be the day before renewal, and if you decide to cancel you'll still have access for the remainder of your year, it just won't be renewed when that renewal date comes along. At that point, your content would remain with WA for 30 days before being dropped. You'd have that 30 day time period to move your content to other hosting :)
Whichever you decide to do, it's completely up to you. If you'd like your sites to stay intact, you don't have to do a thing. Your yearly membership will auto renew on its own with no problem.
Good luck, Rebecca! :)
Isabelle, Nothing will happen to your site as long as you keep your payments going. If you paid for yearly you are okay. Even if you are paying monthly, you will be fine, just keep your payment coming.
Check in with Kyle, he have the best answer for you!
Hi Louisa, thanks for your reply. My WA annual subscription will renew in Nov.2018, I am not sure, how I will be by then. If I still am not able to work on my site, I need to suspend the renewal and advise WA by Oct.2018 . I don't know how to get in touch with Kyle. Does he ever reply?
Isabella, you still have a few months ahead of yourself. Try and. PM Kyle again!

A domain name is not expensive so having it renew automatically is a good idea.
I have the same problem because I work full-time. Sometimes a couple of months will go by before I can add content.
It is not an ideal situation but it is all I can do right now. I know the day will come when I can work on my sites as much as I'd like.
The longer a domain exists the better. Google and other search engines like those domain names.
So it is a good idea to hang on to them. Thanks to the WA system we can easily pick up where we left off at any time in the future.
Your site will be there waiting when you can get back to it.
Hi Wendy, thanks for your reply. That's what I thought too. That google likes when the site ages online. I just thought that it would be kind of silly to keep paying subscription if say I cannot work on it for 6 mos.
That's why I pay the yearly membership at Thanksgiving. Much cheaper and when I have months where I can't work on my sites - I'm not laying out so much money.
Hi, Isabella
First, as long as payment setted up automatically when you do not have to worry about your site. About capacity, do you mean technical issue or the time?
Time: you need to find time to do some to update you're of site health.
Technical: Always ask your WA members and the trainers.
If you have further questions, please feel free to ask me.
Now, You are here to earn not burn your MONEY. So please start adding something to your site. Good luck.
Sham
Hi Sham, thanks for your reply. It is for health reasons that I will need to be away for a while. I don't know when but soon. I don't mind about the domain that is cheap to keep. I was thinking about the yearly premium, what is the point to keep paying if I am not able to work on it. I'd like to keep my site online I think it is getting good ranking but I also need to pay hosting to keep it online.
Since your domain and WA subscription are on auto, no worries. Just leave it as it is and it should be there waiting for you to polish it when you return.
Any content on the site?
:)
Joe
Hi Joe, thanks for your reply. Yes I have lots of contents in my site. Don't you think it is a waste of money to keep paying WA subscription if I cannot work on my site?
