Back up via wordpress plug in?

I just installed the plugin "WP Clone" today and it seems to be working fine. Have you tried that one?
If so, how can I do this? When someone clicks on the WA bannner or link I want to send them a free e-book, is this possible?
If you want to just give something away via your blog, all you need to do is add it as a .pdf in your "edit" box when writing a post. Instead of "image," you'll click document.
If you're trying to build an email list, which I highly suggest that you do, there are a variety of ways to do that. This is where you normally see something like a free report or a free video being given away in exchange for an email address.
I just wrote about one service that I'm using on my main blog. There are many others. Some use a contact form on your website, and the one I'm using hosts my own landing pages - which I find extremely useful.
So, it depends on which one you wish to do: Are you just giving away something, or did you want to build a list?
I would like to give away an ebook but get their email address as well. So sign up with email and send you a free ebook. I just though that would entice people to sign up, right? As of right now I'm having a problem getting the ebook link to site. Do I wait till people sign up and then send them the ebook to their email address or have a link where they click and get the ebook right away after the sign up?
sorry for so many question!!!
You need an auto-responder service which 1) receives the email address, and 2) provides either the direct URL to the file, or sends the file to the email address provided.
From what I have read and wrote about, recently, it is best to email them the file to the email address provided. Otherwise, they can.. and many do... provide an erroneous email address just to receive the report.

No, to do so would be 'bait and switch' and is highly unethical. Instead, make a banner for the ebook you want to give away.
not sure what exactly you mean. If I create a banner, not sure how, but if I did then what does that do? Do I still give it away?
Yes, you can create a banner that creates a sign-up and in exchange for their email address you send them a free ebook.
oh ok, that sound good. Are there any tutorials for doing that? Creating a banner that creates a sign up form?

Right now I have 1 on every page, which is about 6 so I don't know if that is too many? It just seems that the content I am putting on the page it kind of ends leading to WA Af
Thanks, I don't think it's overdone, since they are small and at the bottom of the page after my content.
One on every page is the maximum amount you should place. However, as with any advice, that's just my opinion.
How many linksbanners should I put on my site?

When do you know when your website is ready to start advertising with Bing Ads? Since I'm very, very new to this and my website is done as far as I think I can go, do I start n
Wait until you've got at least 30 pieces of content. You want something that will 'stick' your visitors to your site, and make sure you have your call to action decided upon as well.
Not sure I really understand it all. When you say 30 pieces of content, what exactly do you mean? Do you mean pages? Articles? What do you mean Call to Action?
30 blog posts/articles. Call to action is something you ask your readers to do, aka, sign up for a newsletter, buy a product, basically asking for action.
And that's what I mean by convert. Traffic comes in and converts to the action that you're wanting them to do. If you don't have any calls to action (that make money) why spend money on pay-per-click ads to get more traffic?
My site is an affiliate site, so I'm asking readers to click on the WA site for more info. Is this what you mean?
Yep. But do you know if that's happening? How many visitors do you get, and how many of them follow the links? Of those how many register and go Premium?
The ratio of visitors to Premium is your conversion rate. But if that's not happening, or if you don't have analytics information to know if it's happening, then ppc could just be a waste of money.
However if your your traffic is converting for particular content (blogs and pages) then you can place ppc ads targeting the traffic that is already converting. Then you get more of it.
Ok, I guess this is just a little over my head right now. I haven't done anything yet....so I really don't know what to expect. I'm still in the process of setting up my site. I don't really know how to begin getting traffic, so I thought the PPC would be a way to start getting some. Is there a way to get Free traffic? So to start out maybe that's the way to go....
SEO is how you get free traffic. Optimizing your content so it shows up in the the search engines when people search for the keyword that you're targeting. If you're still setting up your site then it's definitely too early for ppc. Once you have a collection of blog posts, and some analytics that show which of those posts are the most effective and converting, then you can choose to pay for ppc advertising to bring more traffic to those pages. But you don't have too. You can stick with free seo if you want too.
It's a lot to learn but worth the effort if this is what you want to do. Keep going through the training and you'll get there.
I think you'll get differing opinions on this. According to the WA training you use ppc to bring more traffic to content that you already know is converting. Basically ppc is taking seo to the next level because you're paying to get your content to the top of the rankings. But if the content doesn't convert then why waste money on it with ppc?
