My New Learnings With WA AI Credits LOL!
Dear WA Family,
Happy Day!
I was not using the WA AI credits for many months. Recently, I started focusing on building my online business.
Image Studio:
I came across people genuinely praising Image Studio, so I gave it a try. Trust me, I'm amazed and now using Image Studio for all my images.
Please Don't Laugh (LOL):
On 31st December, I was preparing my sermon for the night service. Suddenly, I got a revelation/reminder LOL that my AI credits will be gone since the month is going to end.
Immediately, I turned on my desktop and created images for my future posts, YouTube banners, FB page banners, etc. I used all my AI credits.
I said to my wife, I wisely used all my AI credits otherwise, it would have been wasted (expired).
January 1st Was My April 1st:
I kept refreshing my WA page to see the AI credits, but they were not there.
Why isn't it credited yet? Might be our WA server timing is different, since I'm in India, I'm ahead, so I waited and kept refreshing. I said to myself, because it's the New Year, they will credit it after sometimes it seems.
My Learnings:
Finally, I texted other WA members asking why it's not credited yet. They said it's not credited on the 1st of every month, but it will be credited on the date I joined or renewed my WA membership. OMG!
I know many are aware of this, but I'm not (my bad). You know what... I will get my AI credits on the 28th of January only, and I'm counting days and waiting for the 28th of January.
Something Worth Thinking About:
There were days, weeks, and months when I was not using WA AI credits. Once I realised the value, and by mistake, I used all my AI credits, but now longing and waiting for it. This is life, right?
It's the same with the WA platform, training and everything. Until we realise its value, we will be wasting it and won't be utilising it. This is a lesson for me, but I'm laughing at my stupidity.

yup I did the exact same thing and rushed to use up 60k before the 1st when my date was actually the 26th - but I got some REALLY good work done in that 4 days LOL... and yes, exact same with wasting them for years before that... sometimes it feels like we are the only ones doing this or that when really tons of folks doing a thing!

13 months ago I popped into WA just to make a final decision of whether to renew my membership yet again for a year (since I hadn't used it at all for a long time) or whether to give up on it forever.
I had no idea that there were now AI credits. I had heard of people using AI but had never consciously used any AI. I was intrigued and felt a definite 'Fear of Loss' when I realised that since I hadn't used my AI credits, they hadn't been replenished and they don't roll over.
I suppose you now know that if you go to 'WA' credits - close to the bottom on the sidebar - you can check your AI credits as well as your cash credits.
You live and learn. And you may be lucky - if there is a challenge for all Premium members soon (rather than just for Premium Plus yearly), you may be one of the winners and get some AI credits sooner.
If you only need 'one-off' images rather than consistency, just ask ChatGPT, Copilot, Bing Create or Canva AI. They all do good images. The Image Studio is just special in that you can give it a reference image and it will then keep everything the same that you want to be kept the same.

Trust me, even i thought of quitting because of my regular job i didn't worked on my websites for a few years.
But now due to health issues i have resigned my job and focusing on my online business.
Indeed, looking for the weekly challenge for premium members.
I haven't found myself in this situation yet. Maybe I could do with getting a better understanding of when credits expire and renew. Although what I get with just my premium membership I think is pretty easy to use up - I just to generate articles with my credits but now with Image Studio i'm a lot more careful
I agree. 10,000 AI credits don't go far when you are using the Image Studio. I am very careful with my credits too and I use other AIs for things they can do just as well. I don't need Image Studio for blog images. I mainly use Image Studio when I need consistency, especially for my children's books where characters need to stay the same in different situations.

Yes, I was a bit upset when ImageStudio was released with how fast the credits were going but I have come to terms with it more now - I definitely cannot knock the quality. I'm also using Canva and it does take some work to get images how I want them in a lot of cases but it's cool I am getting things done which is main thing.
I had the same issue a couple of months ago. I wasn't brave enough (or some say stupid enough) to ask the community so I just waited.

Then one day they were there.
Yippee.
I learnt it was on the day I joined that they were credited.
It does make you laugh how sometimes the simple things in life can cause us to despair.

Well said! I'm also one belong to that group of those people who didn't take advantage of the WA platform. I wasted many years without working or going after those shiny things (shiny object syndrome).
But now I really want to give it all.

Paul, it more ignorance than stupidity. There is an over abundance of training, classes, blog posts on Wealthy Affiliate and really impossible to watch/read it all and WA has been adding so many new features over the past 9 months.

That's OK Paul. I did the same thing when I ran out of credits the first time. LOL
As for expiring. What do you mean by "it would have been wasted (expired)?
I don't think they will expire. I ended my time period with 1,300 AI Credits and when it renewed 10,000 AI Credits yesterday, I now have 11,300 AI Credits.
Oh, I got it! But I was not using it for many months, so I thought it would not accumulate and also by mistake I thought it would go to zero at the end of the month (my bad).
Robert - you only get your 10,000 if you have used up a large portion of your previous 10,000. I'm not sure how many you need to have used up in order to get the new 10,000. I try to use up nearly all of them.
