Oh he was, we had just finished making muffins. He doesn't actually like muffins, he just takes one bite from each muffin top, laughs, and then attempts to move onto a new muffin. The little rascal! haha.

I can't think of a better "Reason Why" than teaching your daughter, by example, that she can forge her own path and create her own freedom. Whenever you get tired or discouraged, remember who's eyes are watching and who you're doing this for.
My daughter is now a mom of a teenager, and of 5 other, younger kids. We still love to recall how I used to take her on my drives through neighborhoods looking for real estate deals. I have been known to lift her through unlocked windows to get into vacant houses. Together we structured creative offer, did repair estimates, and devised exit strategies. Pretty good for a 10-year old, huh? My first student :-).
My point is this: whether your daughter chooses the path of the entrepreneur, or a more traditional path, the gift of "possibility" is one of the greatest gifts you can give her. I say "one of the greatest", because the absolute greatest is the gift of spending time with dad, dreaming... and doing...to make that dream come true.
That will stay with both of you.

There is a famous quote from Mark Twain:
"If it's your job to eat a frog, it's best to do it first thing in the morning. And If it's your job to eat two frogs, it's best to eat the biggest one first."
And that just means - do your hardest task first or at least as soon as you can in the morning. If you do this then the rest of your day is easy from there!
