Hi everyone. Well, I promised a report after the free $50.00 ad offer from Bing after it ran it's course.

Now, right up front I do not know much about running a PPC campaign and that is definitely now on my to do list, but many of you wanted me to report back so her goes.

I took Bing's $50.00 on free ads offer on I believe around the 7th of April and set it up for a $5.00 a day budget. I figured that was all it would cost was up to $5.00 a day and with a $50.00 credit I would be good to go for 10 days but that did not happen. I ran out of money somewhere around day 6. Why I do not know.

Now, if anyone who knows about these campaigns and would like to take it from here and explain what this report says please feel free to enlighten us. :) I will say the leads from the ad did start coming in like crazy for about 4 days straight, then tapered off.

Here is the page from Bing:

Looking forward to reading the responses!

Let me point out that this was used for lead generating and my conversion rate for leads is very good. I will not know what those numbers for conversions are until next months report on April.

I did a small google ad one it went quite well but as you say you get a good response after so many days then it seems to decline, but if a free spend comes along its worth using it

Ok, I get it, I ran a couple ads campaign on Face Book but I had to set a daily spending limit. May be that couild have been the problem. Thanks for sharing

I did something similar on Twitter. You set a budget, and you set your daily spend limit as well. The service runs your ad and once you start getting clicks you are charged so much. More clicks the price goes up.
It will stop(running ads) after you reach your daily amount but if you still get clicks on the ads you are charged.

This is just my experience-have not tried another one because you really need a little bit of $ to see a significant result. (In Twitter's case) At least $150. The more money you spend the more exposure your ad you will get.

It's advertising and that is always expensive.
Hope this helps,
Camille

Next step is to set up goals so you can track the conversion rates and other matrics

Shawn I would be happy to explain but i cant see it

I will send you a PM later with the screenshot

Right click and "View Image"

Kat you can use [ Ctrl + ] simultaneously to zoom.I don't know for mac

Pay per click advertising is very low on my totem pole. Sure, I've had CTRs of as high as 28% but the conversions essentially stand at .0068% That's lousy. Doesn't begin to pay my costs. So I'm not a big fan of PPC The only PPC that I've profited from are from Solo Ads from vendors who have proven themselves and their lists as reliable and responsive.

I'm glad I read this because I've been looking into other forms of traffic. Solo Ads, I just got a conversation with a lady not to long ago about her vendor. I wasnt sure where the traffic was coming from or how this works, but I trust your word WAY more than a pretty lady on Facebook. Is traffic from buyer's list decent for the site? I've read about fake traffic & I'm not sure if they are one in the same

Safe Swaps tries hard to keep a clean roster, but a lot of shady vendors still slip through. Udimi.com is better and maintains a pretty good roster of reliable sellers. It's still up to you to evaluate your own sellers. I use Udimi for solo ads and haven't been hurt enough to discourage me, whereas I won't go near Safe Swaps. Besides, Udimi doesn't require a paid membership.

You're going to encounter fake traffic everywhere, so you have to be very judicious about vendor selection. Advertise and you'll be getting shot at from all directions and once in a while you'll take a hit.

Keep one significant factor always in mind. Many unscrupulous advertisers - the ones who GUARANTEE hits, pay third worlders fractions of a cent to click on ads. These people will never buy anything and only jack up your bounce rate.

Solo ads are great - but low conversion rates are usually due to a poor landing page - with PPC it's all about testing and tweaking until you get things dialed in

Yes, this place GUARANTEES hits. It's essentially $1 per click (but they always promise more than what is paid for) and they have different pricing packages. I'm still not sure about it.

Another thing I've been looking into is WebFire. Has anyone ever heard of it?

Hey Leo! I've checked out your sites and training and I love them! Have you ever heard of WebFire? If so, is it any good? I'm thinking about purchasing

Webfire is OK. I've used them - but they're costly and I'm not convinced they're worth it. One day I'll go back and do a comprehensive testing.

Thank you and sorry never heard of WebFire

It looks rather nice. I'd definitely do an updated review on it. Text to Speech videos which submit to all big uploader names, blog finders for the keywords of your choice, and all sorts of potential organic traffic. Instead of repaying for ads over and over, this would make more sense to me.

But alas, I am new. Not sure if it's even needed but definitely take a look.

I'd say it's worth the research

Udimi looks good I will look into it after I set up my auto responders thank you!

Good campaign means you have to have CTR above 8% and CPC under 0.17 cents per click. I normally have CTR over 9% and pay 0.15 per click.

OK, which is greek yet to me, lol, but I am learning

The CPC depends on the campaign and niche you are in - my click rate is 22% and my average CPC is $1.56

SO, it looks like my CTR was 26% and my cost was .86 per click. Good?

dame good

I know I got a large increase in leads for about 5 days straight

Awesome

Looks pretty good to me. For your first crack at it! Cost per click .85 less than a $ per click. The true test is did you get any conversions ?

I got leads and the conversion rate for active leads is very good so yes, I am sure I did get sign ups from this

Did you make any sales though?

Tich

hard to say as I used this for lead generation and that report will not be available until the 3rd of next month

See above comment :)

I got that offer too, I didnot trust it, and whilst my English is not that good, I keep away from haziness business
