Good luck, I hope this helps :)
Man I don't have a problem with yiu asking that on here. We're a network that's what networking is all about. Is that near Tampa?
Hi Sharonn, follow CathyS' advice. If you don't know anyone personally, you're better off going through your school. The dean of international students would be better equipped to handle your request.
Don't put yourself in a vulnerable situation.
I wish you well.
You can try roommates.com. When my son moved to AZ for work, he found a guy similar age that had bought a house and was renting out two rooms. He ended up in a very nice house with a pool and hot tub for $425. Then, meets his girlfriends roommate. They fall in love. It's been 7 years and they just got married. Good Luck to you. Also, you can place an ad in the local university area paper. I am sure there are other students that live off campus and rent/share a home.
Does the college / university have a campus paper? You may be able to view an online version and check for ads for people either with rooms to rent or looking for roommates.
I am on the Gulf Coast. If I were you, I would call the university and speak to someone who works in the department dealing with international students. Explain your circumstances and if there are any rentals available within your budget and they know about them, they will provide you with the information. Hope this helps! God Bless! ~Cathy
I'm on the other coast, but doesn't the university have a list of appropriate lodgings for its students? Have you asked them? Most do. GOOD LUCK!
They have but its expensive and Off campus rooms are flexible,if you can please help me to find a room....
Where is your university? Name and location. I can't just say California. It's a huge state.
