6 Months down and ?

I've learned a lot, but $$$ and traffic are still further away than I expected at this stage. Time to look at what I've learned and evaluate my process. I've invested in annual renewal, so I have months without much cost to catch up...

If I keep on doing what I did, I expect to keep on getting what I got. Changes are in order. As always, I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks for your attention and support...

Steve

Read Kyle's latest post...maybe that is the guidance you need to move forward.
Debbie

Thanks Debbie,

I will definitely check it out.

Steve

Steve, six months? I stayed with it 18 months before seeing any results. I asked myself many questions.
1. Is there something better that can work for me?
2. If I don't try to work for myself, can my employer really make it happen?
3. The time I am using to do this business, what will fill that time,

Then I started all over again with a different perspective. I set goals, I shared with all my social media contacts what I was learning, not selling.

I realize it took longer for me cause I chose a very competitive niche, make money online. It did not matter, that was my choice. So listen, my mentor said to me, " Start with the end in mind", and do not let up. Reach out to the resources you have here at WA and let us get your business up and running with results. Make it a great week.

PS: I quit within my first year and is what Kyle said to me that brought me back.

Thanks David,
I really appreciate you sharing your personal experience, as that does much to make it real. We all have much in common, here, and I can relate with your situation. I know that my mountain is harder to climb due to the niche I chose, related to my B2B manufacturing business - clearly a tough nut to crack. If more conventional marketing approaches worked for driving my business, I wouldn't be here playing the long game.

Unfortunately, I have far more than my personal impatience to contend with - there is the cost of keeping the lights on and the internet connection running while my company income is vastly inadequate before I drive new revenue. If I see a trickle of business as inevitable in 10 or 12 months, it may not matter if my equipment, inventory and marriage are no longer there when it happens.

I believe in the process here, and I've every intention to stick with my investment and drive forward, if I can. Hopefully, enough significant orders from past customers or word of mouth will come along to buy me and my business some time, so that my home and business will be here when the results kick in. If not, looking more to "my employer" is not an option, as the company I'm working to build has not paid me a dime for years, and will not do so until the marketing efforts bear real fruit. This is my day job, so my ability to survive is completely dependent on it.

Thanks again for your great story and powerful advice, David. I'll do my best to learn from your example and follow your tips to move forward. I simply may have to find other ways to support day to day life while I do that, and that will probably mean far less time and energy for WA work until it starts to generate business.

Cheers,
Steve

I hope things will look better soon.

Keep working. It will happen.

Is good that lot is in your bag regarding the programs offered. However, monetization will also, follow soon. Much blessings.

Very good progress my friend. let's keep going.

Bo Tipton https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/botipton is mentoring a couple of people here, and they write about their learnings.

Here is a terrific guidance blog of one of the group

Go Loes, watching and keeping under the radar. Love all that you have to bring to this awesome community. You have helped me so many times with other veterans here, I commend you for your loyalty. I Appreciate You!

Thank you:)

Many thanks, Loes,
I've been impressed with this program Bo has going. While I was not quick enough to get in that group, blogs and other spin offs from it could offer some great benefit.
Thanks for pointing this one out.

You can apply to Kyle

I saw this, Loes and it is very tempting, but I'm not likely a good fit for the program. I'm committed to finding a way to build the market for products I manufacture, so changing my orientation to selling WA might be too much of a distraction. Most of my primary target prospects for marketing my isolation cabinets would be marginal prospects for WA membership sales.

I do like the business model for WA marketing here, and I'd be taking bootcamp education if I weren't already committed to another path.

Good points and nice reference to the definition of insanity.

I'm finding out the same Steve, even though I'm only on a 3 month journey into this venture. It is a bit more distant than expected.

Keep going. It took me over a year before I started getting regular sales and not just the once offs.
