Progress after two months

When I joined Wealthy Affiliate I had been thinking about Online Marketing for some time, and had ideas for three business ventures. These were a golf site, an iPhone site and a retirement site. I was however not sure of a way to get started. I have had some experience of website building and maintenance from a venture a few years ago. That was until I came across Wealthy Affiliate. This gave me opportunity to turn my dream into reality.

Technology and software have improved since my last foray into website building. So with Wordpress and the excellent training provided by Wealthy Affiliate the process is much easier. I am learning something new about Wordpress and Online Marketing everyday, which is all part of the journey.

After three or four weeks I realised that trying to create three new businesses from scratch was too much work. So I decided to concentrateon what has now become my main focus. As I have recently retired I felt that a good niche for me would be issues around retirement.

These could be financial, medical, social care, wellbeing or simply adjusting to a new and hopefully a long and rewarding life. Free from the pressure of the daily grind.

My website is in the early stages of development, but with the help and guidance of WA I feel that I am making steady progress. At the moment it is mainly centred around promoting Wealthy Affiliate, as I see this my main income stream at this stage of my business development.

I am indexed on Google and my ambition is to get my site ranked within three months. By this time I would be very happy if I had some income also, but I will simply keep on working to make that happen.

In the mean time as someone posted the other day lets 'jump in and get some work done'.
