Dot com dot au is country specific and is not supported at Site Domains. BUT there's no reason you can't have your website hosted here. Go to wherever you bought the domain name and change the DNS to point to WA servers. WA Hosting - Setting Up Your Domain DNS If it's an existing website you'll have to get Site Support to help you with the move.

I went through google fetch on the 7th. of June and listed main website and each of my posts , but 8 days later the main website and the last post I fetched have been indexed b
Hi Tim, Thanks for that mate, sounds like I just need to be a little patient.
Much appreciated.
Col
Yeah, that is not unusual. It can take 7-14 days for indexing of a new website, I would not be concerned at all and I wouldn't "wait" to move forward and continue building out your website. In fact, that will lead to quicker indexing.
Yeah, that can happen. Google doesn't always add everything. Sometimes they will add and later remove too. Only to add it back later.

I just received notification of a new user on my website and it was not me it was someone from Thailand ajathacker61. What do I do about this.?
Under Settings => General. You will see a box where you can disallow people from subscribing to your site (see attached image).
Although it is annoying when you get these subscribes (usually from automated bots), it doesn't really do much harm. I would just uncheck this box and you won't be bothered with these request going forward.
Your site has definitely not been hacked.
Thanks Kyle , all good I have unticked that box.
All sorted, there is something new to learn each day.
Col
Does that mean I should make contact with him, as he is most likely my first subscriber.?
Col
I would change passwords then check your site with a fine eye, my site got hacked and someone placed loads of affiliate links on my site.
Really sorry, glad you found out in time.
It's probably in your settings. Go to Settings > General and take the tick out of the box "anyone can register". If that's not the issue then contact Site Support.
Sorry to hear that!
The option is there to reset our password every day if we want. When we hit login, it's there to do so.
Thanks Patsy, I did that and went in and deleted the new user, and found as Marion pointed out my site had anyone can register still ticked in the settings.
Col
You are welcome, thanks for posting this so we are aware. I'm pretty sure my my 'anyone can register' is off...but I'm going to double check it right now.

I just tried an FTP upload with Cyberduck, added all the right information and it won't connect. It say's not a valid DAV response, does any one know where to go from here? Th
I had the same problem. Sometimes image descriptions containing a comma, colon or apostrophe cause this as in my case. You need to remove any commas, or apostrophe.
For example, in my case the word men's had an apostrophe. Remove it so it's like this mens.
That's all it was! I saw something about FTP and how it was a long process and thought there has to be an easier way and there was.
Hope to this helps.
Thanks Patsy, I finally got around it by changing themes and using a smaller header image.
But I'll keep what you said in mind , that could be handy down the track
Col
You are welcome. It sounds like the size made a difference.
My problem had such an easy solution!
I do not know what Cyberduck is and have no idea what DAV means. Are you adding an image to WP? Can you show the image file name? If it contains some special characters, it will not be added.

It could be a plugin issue. Deactivate all your plugins and see if you can upload your image. If that works then activate the plugins one at a time checking as you go to see which one is causing the issue.
I just uploaded a header image 1920 x 1280 and it works just fine https://max-black.com/
