The standard WP tab icon on my websites is BUGGING me. OCD kicking in! lol Thanks in advance.

all in one Favicon is good I just used it on a clients site and it works well and is really easy to use

Barry

Yeah, you can use a plugin.

If, like me, you would like to reduce the number of plugins on your site, it is easy enough to use a free online favicon generator, save the image as an .ico file, upload the image to the media library, then add a one-line code to the header.php file.

If interested, type in "favicon without a plugin" into Google search and I'm sure you'll find tutorials for how to do this. I managed to do mine, so it must be easy...lol.

I totally agree with Jude on this one. A plugin takes up too much resources from your site to complete such a small task. It's a lot better to just upload a favicon. Many theme even offer that option these days ;)

Looks like your covered. Good luck Scott

I also use all in one favicon

Thanks!

I use All In One Favicon for themes that do not have a favicon option. You may find this helpful: ~Marion

Awesome! Thank you much!
