Chronic Niche Jumper
It feels like everything I hear or see now I'm trying to think of ways to monetize. This leads me to want to "niche jump". I'm at the point now that I lose concentration on what I'm doing and want to try something new. A new niche, a new website, a new domain name, a new approach. For sure I want to help people. That part has never changed but I have to pick something and settle in. For now I will continue with the two sites I have and work on completing the training. One of my issues is I split posts between both sites and neither are "built out" as much as they should be by this stage of the training. Time to regroup and get back to basics.

There is an anecdote about a donkey who died standing between two hayricks, because he could not decide which one to start eating. No offense, I am not far from your mental state, know how you feel. Focus on something you like more than other. Jovo
None taken, it made me laugh a little actually, I just had to get it off my chest and put it out there. Thanks.
When I created my site "just my thinking" it stayed empty because I could not decide which way to go, so instead I was working on my site on mountains. Presently I am working on the former, adding some stuff from WP but I am not at all clear if this will be my direction. That much about donkey on my side. Jovo
It is good that you noticed it yourself and can refocus. I write down my niche jumper ideas and will follow up once my first project hits off
Niche Jumping is more like basketball, never knowing how the ball will bounce. Being focused on your purpose of building a website is more important than all the other outside distractions.

Niche jumping is also known as 'shiny object syndrome'. Try to stay away from the new shiny objects and focus on what you really want to do. ~Marion
