Yes, that's right, I was seeing similar links on other sites. I was so dismayed and I'm so thankful that I figured it out. :-)
Hi Bob, just wanted to let you know that I found the problem, it was with an extension on my browser that unknowingly had attached itself and was causing the popups on any and everything I did. What a relief. I guess everyone thought I was a bit off :-) Thank again for your help.
Ouch -- I hadn't even considered that possibility.
Since the cause was a browser extension rather than something on your site, only you and not your site visitors would have seen the links. (I'm guessing that you were probably seeing similar links on other sites but would have had no way to know that they shouldn't have been there.)
Hi Bob, I have attached a screenshot of the plugin page and you will see something that is surprising, at least it was to me. Those hyperlinks exist through the entire text and they are Advertisements. Let me know what you think!
You can deactivate and delete that anti-spam plugin since WA has implemented spam blocking at the server level. While I can't be 100% certain, I don't recognize any of the others as particularly worrisome.
Okay, thank you again, I will try that and hope it will remove those hyperlinks on my website. I'm very uncomfortable about these hyperlinks, I merely stumbled across them and I think other affiliates are experiencing the same thing unknowingly.
What plugins do you have installed? There are a few sneaky ones which can insert links into your site without you realizing that they will.

A suggestion -- Go to your "Plugins" page and deactivate your plugins one by one. If a plugin is causing them, you should see those links go away when you deactivate the offending plugin.
