The Magic of Christmas
It's Christmas around the world and all children are dreaming and waiting with baited breath for that jolly old man with the beard and the twinkling eyes named Santa to come down the chimney and bring them gifts. Oh how I remember those days!! It was a night of magic and dreams, leaving out cookies for the mysterious visitor who would make us happy in the morning. The excitement and wonder and then hopping up out of bed on Christmas morning with joy and delight to see what he had brought us. It was also a time when we knew, yes we just knew that a tiny baby had been born into a manger and somehow had brought peace and love into the world. If we could just all remember these hopes and dreams and feel the joy of being one with the world again as adults the world just might be a happier place. Tonight let us all try to remember what this beautiful day represents. A time of peace, happiness, and love for each other. Let us all try to remember this each day, everyday and be kinder and more compassionate to the people we meet along the way. For today is the day called the Magic of Christmas!!

Thanks Wendy. We've already had a morning of opening gifts and our grandkids are now playing with them. What fun to see the excitement on their faces as they opened them. I wish you a very blessed Christmas season!
I agree, lovely blog. It's my deepest desire that everyone has a wonderful time and that the new year brings much joy. However, for some unfortunately, it brings much sadness including my dear friend who has just been diagnosed with cancer.
I am so sorry about your friend, Lady May. I will put our positive energy and pray that your friend will come through it all. I know you will be their for your dear friend!!
Wendy:)
A lovely blog Sage but can we also remember those who tragically lost loved ones in the lead up to Christamas whose joy is today replaced by sorrow
You are so right, G!! We must remember those and give them our blessing. Merry Christmas to you.
Wendy:)
