I just found there is updates for two of my plugins for my website. I just want to know , whether is it better to enable auto-updates for plugins.
With the major ones I do, like site kit etc. But some of the smaller ones I don’t in case of conflict. I deactivate the plug in then save, then upgrade while deactivated and reactivate after that. A bit of a hassle, but have never had a problem since starting to do that.
Then again I am pretty an_ _. Lol.
I would not do them manually - gives you a chance to know if there's a conflict and also to back up your website before doing major updating.
Yes, say you have a plugin, and you update it, then something goes with your site, then you know it could be the plugins you just updated. Thought I think plugins, if they are well-coded, should not matter.

Should I enable automatic updates for wordpress plugins?

I have all mine (on around 30 websites) set to update automatically. Plugins and themes both.

While searching for affiliate programs, there are some sites directing me an affiliate network. what is this affiliate network?
An affiliate network is a company which offers serves as a platform for multiple affiliate programs. Affiliate networks are responsible for many different parts of the process, including screening affiliates, tracking clicks and sales, ensuring everyone follows the rules (such as no brand-bidding, keyword stuffing, etc.), and everyone gets paid, among countless other things.
AbieAJ forgot http://Awin.com on his list of networks below!

What happens to the premium features of free website like premium themes used when that person was an active premium member? Does that person has to choose the free theme if he
Hi, you can never back to being a free starter once upgraded to a premium.
Reading you notes below, yes siterubix subdomains remains the property of WA. Any dot com domains you have, you must arrange alternative hosting before your subscriptions expires, as site support back ups only are valid for 60 days, you'd be locked out the platform.
Hi - as the others have said, you can't go back to being a free member again. So, if you cancel your membership, you will need to move your website to another hosting provider. Otherwise, you won't be able to access it and it won't be live on the internet. Plus, unless you move it, it will be deleted after 60 days.
OK. Now I get it. I will lose the initial free website, with premium features now, if I decide to unsubscribe. Only way for me is to move to another host.
Thank you. So that means whatever premium features like plugins or themes that were installed during the creation of that website will remain even if someone decides to unsubscribe from the premium membership?

1) Can I rename a website domain name once created? or do I have to delete it from the hosting and make a new one?
You can change anything to your site except the URL.
To change title you can go to your WordPress sites back office in Settings > General settings and edit title and tagline and save changes.
If siterubix subdomain, you can delete and start again,, however I would save my work in Site Content.
If dot com and you made a URL mistake, then you need purchase a new domain.
If wanting move a siterubix subdomain to a dot com, I see Kyle has given you awesome instructions below.
Was this helpful? If requiring more assistance, just ask.
Thank you so much for that. I was using term domain instead of sub domain the whole time. This was exactly what I was looking for. Now I got answers for both. So what do you suggest should I move to my own domain once I completely filled my website with articles?
Or Is there any benefit in moving to my own domain other than a dedicated brandable website name in the early stages of my website?
FYI, once you've purchased a URL, it cannot be changed. You own it for whatever time period you bought (minimum 1 year), so if you want something different, you must buy that as well.
We actually have a "Move" feature that you will see right within the SiteManager.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites
You can move any domain to any domain hosted here at WA. For example, if you wanted to move your Siterubix website to a domain that you have purchased, then it is a very simple process.
The "Move" feature also handles for all proper redirects and SEO, it will transfer your site in its entirety and it is as simple as a few clicks. See attached screenshot for what I am referring to here.
So you could create a new domain, and move an existing website to that new domain. This is essence would serve as a domain name change, and handle with all the redirects.
As a premium member, you can start a new and 'move' your content over to it, but you can't edit/change your domain name.
Thank you. Does that mean I have to delete it and make a new website with the modified domain name for me to achieve it?
You can purchase and new domain and using the 'move' button in site manager, you can transfer/redirect your content from the old to the new domain.
thank you so much for that. So just to clear things up, whom am i a purchasing domain name from? Is it from the host, siterubix?
If yes, then while I transfer from siterubix to another host then I suppose domain name also comes with it, right?
You can purchase your domain right from here at WA. Once that's done, then you can transfer your content from your siterubix site to the new domain using the 'move' button in site manager.

I'm just confused what to do first: My chosen niche, where I can send my exclusive referral code via email, for an online hotel booking platform competing with other platforms
If you have s niche then it's the Online Entrepreneur Certification training you want to do first.
Hi, you got some good advice already :) I have started with OEC, I finished it in less than 3 months. I would also first recommend OEC, because you learn all the basics of Affiliate marketing. I was totally new to web & affiliate marketing, so I had to learn a lot. I currently write all my posts alone, so I also take care of SEO etc. that is needed to start ranking in google. I plan to start MMO website in 2021 & then I will follow Affiliate Bootcamp.
Choice is offcourse yours to make :)
Wish you lots of success in 2021!
Thank you and wish you success too! May I ask from your comment. just wanted to know if its something new. By MMO you mean gaming right? or is it something else?
Hi, we would always advice doing the OEC vs Affiliate Bootcamp (Make Money Online niche), because the latter is much harder and more competitive, you would need write at least 300 to 400 posts before you start scratching the surface.
