## Update: It's all sorted. I put a ticket through to Support and they said that the server that my photos were on had gone down, but they were able to get my images back up ag

Marion just asked the question I was going to ask. Are they still in your media library? If they are, you can find the spot where they go and re-insert them. If they aren't in your media library, you will have to find the originals and put them back in there.

I learned from another website that you do not delete posts from your media library if you have used them in a post. If you do, they will disappear from the post as well. I thought my media library was too full and cleaned out most of the pictures; then I discovered they were also removed from my posts. Took me two weeks to find them all and put them back.

Another thing that I learned, and need to implement more on my own site...if you put a caption under your picture, then accidentally delete the image in some way, you can find the location again because the caption will remain.

Hope that helps.

Are the photos still in your media library?

Are you linking to images on someone else's website?

How did you insert the photos?

Nope. Not in my media library. And they're photos that I've saved so they're my own. I downloaded them into my media library. My favicon (or site icon) was gone too. Had to re-load it.

That's too weird. Contact Site Support and see if they have any clues as to how the photos could disappear from your media library.

Hi guys, hope you're having a good day.

My favicon isn't showing up on the tab at the top of my browser, so I'm suspecting it's not showing up on anyone elses? I've tried

You don't need a plugin, Jyl, favicons (site icons) are now part of WordPress core.

most themes also have a favicon and they might be overwriting the all-in-one favicon part. You will have to check for this.

I indeed see an empty icon of a page so that is definitely not working right now.

Any reason why my favicon is not showing?

Thanks for all the feedback guys :)
I do remember when this platform began, and I would offer 2 comments, request 1, and almost always got at least 5 or 6. I've noticed that this is no longer the case, so maybe WA could double-up on post comments? If members are willing to leave comments then why put up a barrier?
I'm sure I'm not the only one on here who sets aside a specific time of the day or night to dedicate to WA and giving comments. So to come on only to be hit with not being able to do the very thing we are actively encouraged to do, is very disheartening :(

Hi Jyl
there are more folks wanting to provide comments than folks requesting comments. So it can be hard to place comments.

If you go here you can adjust your settings,

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/comments/settings

scroll down to " my interests " and perhaps check more areas of interest that will open up more opportunities to place comments.

don't forget to click " save interests " before exiting.

Also

- Go to account settings.

- Scroll down to email notifications settings.

- Notifications, edit.

- Make sure you have " site comment interest match " checked.

- You will receive an email when a listed comment interest is requested.

- save changes

Hope this helps.

Alex

Thanks Alex. I did have quite a lot of interests already ticked but I've ticked a few more anyways. Hopefully that will make a difference :)

Hello from a fellow Brit! Since the opportunity to earn cash by commenting was introduced, people are snapping them up as soon as they appear.

Greetings to you
you should try from time to time to leave a comment that for the moment this is not the case for all we need to look after 10 minutes

Members can now earn cash by giving comments and therefore its a busy section as is the Feedback section.
You have to be quick.
Why not buy credits and use them for comments and you will usually be asked to give comments as well after you request them.
I do it all the time and it only costs $10 for 20 credits.
With them you can request 10 comments.

That would be a last resort I'm afraid. Spending time leaving comments in order to be able to request them, is fine by me. Spending money when I'm already a fully paid up member of WA doesn't sit so well with me...

I know what you're saying but if you request comments you have to have the credits to pay for them and you could have a hard time earning those credits when so many members are waiting to earn money from giving them.

This is preciously my point and it's absolutely disgraceful that this is how it's going. I am happy to offer double the amount of comments to what I request, and it's so disappointing to see that this has been turned into a money-making exercise by the creators. This started off as a great way to get traffic to our sites without having to resort to paid advertising, but at $1 per comment that's exactly what has happened. I feel let down.

Ok, so just do what I do and pay the $10 and that way you are in control.
Enjoy your Sunday.
Robert

Em.... no. I’ll not be paying. Sorry, thought I mentioned that.

No probs, its your choice.

Hello there,

I have an existing eCommerce webshop with EKM Powershop and I'd like to move it all to WA. Am I able to do this? I have quite a lot of items and variations f

Email Kyle or Carson, and they might be able to offer a more relevant support, that we do not know about.

Hey Vi
Good to hear from you. Since you are already with Shopify, they can help you migrate your store to their platform. There is a do it yourself manual or you can hire a Shopify exert; not sure how much that would cost.

But the initial request does not cost you anything. They'll take a look at it and give you feedback.

An alternative could be, to use a plugin. But free plugins often have a limit (512 MB). If when you backup your store it's more than that, then you won't be able to migrate it.So even with the plugin you would have to pay a cost.

There is a plugin that allows you to move I think 1 or 2 G, but you need to know your future host's IP address. I cannot remember it at the moment. But if you want to look into that, just let me know and try and recover that information.

Included the "manual migration to Shopify" link below.

Is it a WordPress website? As WA can only host WordPress websites.

Nope, it's not Wordpress. Guess that answers that then.... :/

Yes it does. Nothing stops you btw to build a WordPress blogging website and link it to your shop. :)

I was wanting to move it because I think I'm being charged too much and I wanted to add it to my WA account. Looks like I'll have to find another solution. Thanks for the reply :)

Charged too much? Good services have their price. You could compare to other hosters and read reviews, forum topics about that hoster. Perhaps you find a better one. Good Luck :)

I have a few ecommerce websites and that one is the most expensive. Since I have 'free' website hosting with WA I wanted to avail of that. But if I can't transfer a non-WP site then I'll have to do some comparing. I'm also with Shopify, so I might look into moving to them :)

If it is compatible and you are satisfied with their services, it can make sense. :)
