I thought I'd ask experienced folk about this before wading through different themes : ). My theme seems cumbersome when I access it on my phone. Thank You!

Go to Themes=> Add New=> Feature Filter and check the Responsive Layout box and any other boxes you like. Then click on Apply Filters. You'll have only a few themes that match your filters so you won't have to wade through thousands. ~Marion

Thank You for responding Marion! I hadn't used that box and it's time for the change, so this will help!
Rob

Hello: The terminology you need to use is "mobile friendly". What I do is go do a Google search using key phrases like "free mobile friendly wordpress themes". And you will find a whole bunch. In fact, you can click and run demos to see how they look on phones and tablets. This is very important as Google now acknowledges websites that are "mobile friendly" - you will see that tag next to websites when you search.

Then pick one you like. Get the name and search for it in WA word press list. If it is not there, you can download it free from Google and then upload it you WP.

Research "Responsive themes". I know Wa has several

Thanx Boomer, I'm probably not that far yet : ). I will check it out for sure.
Rob

Excel makes good graphs. Input the data and click on the graph tab, tell it was as X & Y axis data are, and select the type of graph. The graph can be copied and pasted.

I changed my Gravatar and selected the new one, I deleted the old one, but my new one has not appeared after a whole day. Has anyone experienced this and if so, can you explain

Thank you for this post
Ken

You mean at WordPress?

Yes, In Word Press. I opened it as before and just changed my picture. That was no biggy, actually wasn't when I did it initially. This Time I went back in, uploaded another picture and deleted the other. I then selected the new one.

Register yourself at Wordpress.com then you upload your picture over there and you register with your email. After that, you create your local user using the same emaill. As it is linked with the general Wordpress website, each time you write a post, your infos will be OK everywhere. If you have multiple blogs, it will be alright everywhere. That's my suggestion.

God bless you!

Thanx once again Erik!
Rob

Did it work?

Thanx for checking back Eric! I noticed my picture began showing up in my posts last night. Where it hasn't showed up is in my sidebar where I added a gravatar plugin. I was hoping to have a small picture with a short blurb about the author : ) I believe my gravatar was supposed to show up there was well?
I was struggling with figuring out how to add a small picture in my side bar and ran across a tutorial about gravatar plug ins, so I added one.
Rob

I have not tried the gravater thing yet. You can also add your Google+ account with your face if you want people to see you. Just add it in one of your sidebar widget.

Good night, God bless you!

Thank you katkatskitchen for those answers and thank you ROHaragraff for asking them. I was wondering the same thing. Great, great tool.

You bet! I am glad I can help in some way : ) Rob

The affilaite button is the white button at the top of the post just under the title. It is an awesome strategy and I use it a lot, however the downside is the fact if someone signs up immediately you get the credit but if they read the blog and then go away and do some research and join from the front page here at W.A. then you will not get the referral. Hope this makes sense if it doesn't please ask again

Thank You, I want to be ethical of course so I want to be sure I do this correctly! So.....If I write on a specific topic and point my readers to a WA link, where another WA member Wrote a Blog about this topic, or to a training made by Kyle or Jay, That's all good?
In other words everything is fair game? : )
Three more questions/clarifications - 1. if my referral goes to a link I sent them to, then they go away without returning to my page, but then joins in on WA from the home page....I do not receive credit?
2. Lastly, can I Quote what WA members said in there responses or blogs, for example - What Nate, a member of WA said was, "The one mistake I did getting started was making too many websites at one time. It was a huge stress for me. It worked out in the end because I have an obsessive personality, but I probably wouldn’t do it like that next time around". 3. Can I include a screen shot of a WA member, like Nate, on my site as I use his quote?
For times sake you can reply like.....1. Yes and 2. No : )

As usual...I really really appreciate that you took the time to help me with these questions !
Rob

No problem Rob
point 1 above no you do not get credit as far as I understand it
point 2 that is called content curation and is fair game it means taking content from other people and expanding it. You can see I use that technique a lot in my blog here and I am doing a training on it as we speak ,
For point 3 I would ont but that is my choice

Thank You KAT! : ) this really clears thAt whole topic up for me! I'll look for your training too. Rock on. Rob

you are very welcome

Just one thing to add if the training has a premium label on it they will not be able to see it if they are not a premium member.

That is a very important thing for me to know!! Thanks so much Tommy!! Rob

Click on the affiliate button on the blog you would like to promote it is there for all to use.

After completing up to Bootcamp 1.5, brushing up on things, I came to my check off list and noticed I hadn't shared in 3 places. I was wondering about a good ways to promote to

Absolutely I have found that the social media is a very poor spot to gain income. Most people on Facebook etc. will completely ignore you for ads unless you use paid ads very sparingly because that doesn't even work either. Your only option that I have found is organic and that takes a long time before you hit number one on Google.
Ken

Good luck with that one...would be interested in your response. I have learned with numerous projects that although friends say they will be there, or do as you suggest, they seldom take action; what most friends do, deep down, and although I do not follow suit, they tell you what you want to hear, not what they really want to tell you. Not being negative, but to pre-warn if you will. to be prepared for low results on Facebook. Would genuinely love to see you turn that world around! :)

Thank You, You probably confirmed my inclination, thought I'd see what others have found. My circle of friends and acquaintances have never been there for me as I "dream on" : ) One reason I was so excited about finding a community that can relate. We must be a rare bread : )
Rob

Hey, Rob. Sadly enough, we are that rare breed for sure, while in defence of those who can't be there for anyone other than their own needs first, is the evolving culture of the 21st century and this is only a tip of the massive iceberg to follow. People are really beat up. This isn't just a recession or bad times, this is reality of an archaic well administered system (JOB) that is long washed up and cannot defend itself (provide sufficient incomes) to keep up with the cost of living, let alone meet or beat it, and all as a result of greed by those who oversee said system; far beyond what the eye can see and ear can hear, nor will it ever get close. The 'Committee of 300' is a bigger deal than what people can take in as a result of wisely orchestrated Media propaganda that has the masses believing it all to be conspiracy; the whole idea. We shouldn't think for a minute that networks like FB are not reaping big money for the hold they have on information...any one who has a FB account.
On a positive note, WA is what I also feel to be a very real network community who may not know all or any of what is really going on but they do know something is and thus the reason they are here; here's to hoping Kyle & Carson's willingness to share can keep people in the game long enough to get beyond living paycheck to paycheck. Have a great week! :)
