Good morning! Since I've joined WA, I visited many hunreds of profiles and I do not understand why so many people do not list their websites on their profile.

I think it's because some people might copy ideas? or they are not a aware that was there, I been on profiles where they put it on there about.
I like to ask people why they don't put it on their page. May people do not know they can do it or they have to do it because it does not appear by itself!
I'm still training up , but as soon as I'm ready il be puting my out there to get feed back and advice how to improve it , I've read some people take other people's ideas , but really they arnt helping them selfs doing that , I can understand why people don't put on , it's own personal choice , Good question tho :-)
If someone want to copy my site, it is their problem as it continually evolves so they will only get an unfinished work and a lot less good that what it is becoming! They would have to do it day after day to get everything up to date. So much work to do that! They're better having their own it will take less time and energy! ;-)
Makes no sense to me, either. Some members even put their website urls below a sign-off signature at the end of each blog post - and that doesn't bother me one bit. Just good, non-aggressive, self promotion.
Good idea! You never get promoted enough! And criticism never killed anyone. It helps you grow in maturity!
My thoughts exactly! It makes me wonder if they are not working their business. I've only been here a couple of days but as soon as my website is ready to go everyone will know about it! It doesn't have to be perfect because you can learn as you earn!

There are members who don't want to give out that information due to pilfering. Unfortunately there are members that have copied what other members are doing based on seeing the websites in the profile.

That could happen anywhere with any website though. I would hope that the percentage of intellectual theft would be small. We are all here to help each other. If there is no trust it will be very difficult to do business because you'll always be stressing over what the next person is doing. Just sayin.
I understand it however that is the wonderful website world! Anyone can grab and copy your entire code without any consent! With many billions sites on the NET, nothing to worry too much about!
I don't worry about it myself but I know it has happened here and I have talked to members who have told me they feared that this has or may happen to them
I totally agree! It is fun and very practical. People always see what we don't as we have the nose in it!
I think Gregory says it all really Eric. Although I have been with WA for a while now, I am busy working on my website, and when I feel the time is right, then I will display it.
The website is from the beginning on the air, from the first page, when you display it here, you get right away feedback
I hear what you say. However, how can you make things better if nobody can tell you what you should think about or how to make things different?
Hello Eric. I guess not everyone is feeling OK with what they have done so far. OR the are still finding a way to build a proper website. OR not quite comfortable with the progress so far OR still following the videos. Does that make sense?
That's possible. But how can you learn and grow if nobody can watch, analyse and help you out? Just wondering...
