Worth Waiting For!
Well here I am at the dentist for the 5th visit for this ONE root canal! Hopefully, he will break through this time! I hate the smell, the anticipation of needles and the actual needle to the roof of my mouth.
Anyway, I thought I'd share that I made my first genuine commission! I made one other, but it was solicited. I didn't want to lose my affiliation. So this real commission was $2.50 and I was happy to check out CJ and see a balance!!

Ugh! I've been sitting here in the chair for 30 minutes and he hasn't come in yet.... Good things are worth waiting for right? The end result is I keep my smile with all teeth showing.
OK he just left... Novocaine in gums...waiting...He'll come back to put Novocaine in the roof of my mouth next. For some reason, writing while I'm in here helps me a bit. Thanks for listening....
Well, I'm home. He wasn't able to break through. I have to go back a 6th time. He gets paid the same amount 1 or 20 times, so I'm sure he wishes it was done too. Not as much as me though! The good thing is, I can connect with you all and encourage you to remember that good things are worth waiting for. Two dollars and fifty cents may not seem like a lot, but to me it is just the beginning of something worth waiting for!

I'm doing okay thanks Robin. I'm currently struggling with trying to fix site speed for my three websites. It's all very technical and I don't like it!

Congratulations Robin a commission comes from a sale and that is good, hope they sort that root canal for you.
Congrats on your first commission!! I don't know why, call me crazy, but I don't really mind the dentist...other than the cost lol. I don't enjoy it but I don't hate it, either.

I am a touch crazy lol but my experiences with dentists haven't been too traumatic...even the 2 root canals (well one was botched so I just had it yanked eventually lol) but all in all not as bad as some of the horror stories I've heard. Yours doesn't sound good...what does it mean that he wasn't able to break through? Thank you for the follow and the blessings. Finding WA and this incredible group of people is a blessing! I wish you much success as well! Hopefully, the ordeal with that tooth will be over soon!
The root is calcified and he keeps getting further down but not through to the end. He may not be able to... that can only mean one thing. $$$ hahaha! Not fun. But hey, I'm so glad you don't have that anxiety on your list of things to deal with. So glad you found us here Dawn! Let me know if you need anything. I'll help all I can.
Thank you, I feel so fortunate to have found WA and all the great people I've connected with so far. Eek! A calcified root...I've never heard of that! It really doesn't sound like much fun, at all! Does the tooth cause you pain? Can they pull it? No fun:(
No pain really... the tooth is almost dead I believe. I'm trying to save it because it is next to my eye tooth and it will show :(

I loved having them around and the school system where I lived sucked so it was a no brainer.
Thank you:) Yes, I am working through the lessons. I am at the point where I'm adding content to my site so given my compulsion for rough drafts and revisions it could take a couple of days lol. We are also wrapping things up for the school year so there's a wee bit going on. I truly believe that WA is where I'm suppose to be. There is so much I need to learn and it's all right here. Plus this wonderful community with people like yourself...I don't see how anyone can't succeed. Thank you your willingness to help...I will definitely be calling on you for advice:)
I hate the dentist, but I have never had a root canal, only a crown! And...every penny counts, right? $2.50 is just the beginning of more to come :-)
The crown is next if they can get through the canal. This is my first one and I'm not a fan! Glad you came through your surgery OK. Take Care
Great news, don't worry about the ones you have to solicit. It means you have a better connection with your buyer and hopefully he or she will give you references.
The snowball starts at the top of the hill but the bottom is where it does the damage.

I hate going to a dentist....I went and had a filling done and the pain was excruciating for 9 days afterwards! It got infected! Arrrggghhhh! Anyway thanks for the tip Robin!
It's so hard to forget the bad experiences when going to a dentist. I guess it's the vulnerable position they have you in and those tools!
Any pain in the head is awful!
